Just so we're all on the same page.................. Very proud that this is the exceptionally diverse team that will represent America on Friday pic.twitter.com/l7CqhARjAw— Blake Thomsen (@blakecthomsen) November 9, 2016
Great win (tournament) from the US U20s, hearing even more good news for #usynt that a big-time prospect will be re-joining the federation— Joey (@USAprospects) June 1, 2017
Re-joining the federations sounds like one of the Mexican-American kids that had defected.....................
I hope its Efrain Alvarez Or possibly it could be Ulysses Llanez It's not Tillman re-joining*, Tillman is close but never official in the US camp of things. I have maintained we stand a really good chance with Tim tho.— Joey (@USAprospects) June 1, 2017
It could be someone like Malik Tillman or Corey Anton who has played for us before. I'm probably forgetting a German-American or two who could be rejoining a USYNT. I hope its Efrain Alvarez. Llanez rejoining wouldn't be bad either.
Ran across an interesting Norwegian article. Apparently everyone thought with Joshua King out Norway would play Ola Kamara. Instead they will start a Norwegian-American born in New York City who is 6'5 and plays for Hearts. If plays will be cap tied. http://www.crewture.net/2017/06/norwegian-american-bjorn-mars-johnsen.html
ddwyer14Delighted, honored and very excited for this opportunity An absolute dream come true. Thank you for all your kind words and overwhelming support. Not just here to take part, let's get this cup #goldcup2017 #pinchme https://www.instagram.com/p/BVxgRDZlgJo/?taken-by=ddwyer14 Doesn't seem American enough to me. I'm looking forward to questioning his commitment to our program for the next 6 years.
With Dwyer in the fold...................................we must now move on to the next round! What is Jack Harrison's citizenship timeline? I believe he received his Green Card in early 2017, so our best case scenario is that he's eligible before the 2022 World Cup. Bummer. And we have to hope that he doesn't develop to the point that England is interested. Although, maybe he has an American girlfriend?

I don't think he's that good. I mean he's not terrible by any means, but he's a good 26 year old MLS striker. Dempsey seems to have at least a couple years left. Altidore is 27. Wood is 24 and he's not displacing them. SO he's in that MLS mix of Agudelo 24, Morris 22. I mean CJ Sapong and Will Bruin are only 27, 28 and have more goals than Dwyer. So for the next few years he's #4 at the most optimistic and then who knows what develops of guys like Haji Wright or Josh Sargent for the Qatar cycle. So I just don't see him being a regular fixture for the team. Probably get some January friendlies and maybe another Gold Cup.
