His club plays away to last place SK Prostejov today. He started his first match with Znojmo last weekend.

Znojmo is a nice little city, but a poor team. There are 9 matches remaining in the season, their next opponent on Friday is FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim a ragtag bunch of first division players on loan and Ahinga Selemani.

Plus, there was a scandal at Znojmo earlier this year with shady financing coming from the Balkans. There were some strange game results that sparked an investigation.

Znojmo are officially relegated to MSFL (3rd tier) after losing 7-1 in the final match of the season.

Conner was sort of a rotation player during his stint there so far, he started and went 80 minutes today.

He was apparently also a candidate at Rot-Weiss Essen, but didn't make the cut.

I hate to be THAT GUY, but the Indy Eleven clearly has more than 11 players. (It's the worst case of false advertising since "The Neverending Story," as the joke goes...) One of them is Drew Conner, who is now teammates with former YA and MNT cap-winning Gene Starikov.
