#MNUFC releases full roster ahead club’s @MLS debut » https://t.co/bgiKeDnycg— Minnesota United FC (@MNUFC) March 2, 2017
1. We should be getting an update to FIFA17 soon with the Loons to be added, right? 2.If the club was to use a DP this Summer I'd think the perfect spot for it would be a defender/defensive midfielder, maybe a sweeper? That is, of course, if the offense lives up to my expectation and scores. I really think we have the tools to have a decent offense.
I do like that we have players that can play a variety of positions. BUT, I am thinking a dedicated FB or DM for possible DPs as well. I have the feeling our FBs are going to get torched....though I am excited to see how well Thiessen does.
I saw TCF will be as wide as Yankee Stadium so hopefully that will help cover deficiencies our FB may have... At least at home of course.
Stating the obvious, but will be interesting to see if the "Philosophy" of this squad, particularly getting guys a little bit older (26-29) will overcome the "lack of MLS experience."
Just how old our club is caught me by surprise and it actually is the big concern I have. I didn't look too deeply into all our Euro player signings but I gotta figure non of them has experienced the travel requirements that come with playing in MLS. By the end of August will long flights begin to feel even longer than normal for them? Put on top of that the heat they will be playing in; again something I expect they haven't really experienced, and I begin to seriously worry if those guys will have enough gas in the tank.

Just because the #MLS season has started doesn't mean there aren't transfer updates. Dropping some major #MNUFC news this afternoon.— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) March 10, 2017
Here you go BREAKING: Juventus defender Paolo De Ceglie looking at #MLS move. #MNUFC is on his shortlist of destinations. #Juve https://t.co/alnk0FoXfR— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) March 10, 2017 We would have to open an international spot.
Well, we always knew we would have several players that would be here today, gone tomorrow. This actually feels like the "right fit" philosophy is playing second fiddle to the "Oh, crap, our FB's are not that great....we better get something quick."
New to the thread, quick question, as I can't find any info. Wherefor art thou, Josh Gatt? Not match fit, injured (god forbid), turrible after such a long layoff?
Yes. I want to see Gatt on the pitch. They say he is sound and still speedy. What are they WAITING FOR
He's training. He was actually talking with Heath after practice today. Heath said Gatt has been getting fitter, really wants to play. https://t.co/QeaZkCMq8Y— Megan Ryan (@theothermegryan) March 14, 2017
