I have been, breh. Otherwise I would have tried to defend those GIFS on the USOC final from yesterday. I don't defend MLS from everything, I have always stated that I am a supporter that fully concedes that the league is still quite limited. Defending LAFC, on the other hand, is non-negotiable for me, and even if you threaten to ban me for it, I will gladly take the ban doing so.
I wasn't speaking as a mod, to be honest. But the bit about defending LAFC being non-negotiable. I mean, it's fine. You can defend your club to your heart's content but if you constantly derail threads that have nothing to do with MLS or Random Football thoughts then it ain't me who's going to drop the ban hammer.
What in the Fock is going on here? Speaking as a mod: Take your silly MLS rivalry to another forum altogether. If you have any complaints/observations regarding Gio/Jona, take it to the NSR. If you want to discuss whether you have the right to post mamadas and or off topic posts, take it to customer service. Thank you.
Going back to the topic both brothers were really shit last game, Giovani missed a sitter and looked as slow and useless as always after the 10 min mark (that's Chaco Gimenez level of fitness) while Jona kept losing the ball and ********ed up a back pass that ended up in an Atlanta goal, while you could argue they are the team's most talented players they are clearly playing well below expectations, as someone said, wasting all their resources in these two guys backfired spectacularly for the Laxatives as both Gio and Jona are guys that need better teammates around them to look good, neither are guys that can carry a team on their backs like Donovan used to do.
I watched the game and frankly, could not disagree with you more when it comes to Jona. He passed the ball cleanly and had numerous interceptions in the first 20 minutes. LA gave up 3 goals in the first 20 minutes and two of them were the result of turnovers by Zardes. Anything that happened after that and Jones' red card is meaningless.
I get your point but I don't think it is an excuse, pero cada quien puede opinar lo que crea. With a guy like Tuca in charge of the NT maybe they would but with Osorio lol no, they probably think they are geniuses.
I think Jonathan is still salvageable , Liga MX needs to steal him ASAP there's still good mileage left in that puppy . Good replacement for Pizarro or Orbelin when they transfer abroad in the future!
I was at the game last night, this team sucks. Jona regressed, his xavi-esque style passes were no more and he kept turning the ball over. Gio....well we all know how gio has played in the last year. But hey the beer was cheap and the stadium had alot of it, over 1200 beer taps and a huge variety. Only Image I was able to get of Gio, oh and he wan't even close.
You guys are disrespecting a Mexican NT legend in Gio who always brought the huevos wearing the green. Sure his NT peak and time might be over but don't forget what he did accomplish. Jona not so much, so fack him.
it's good to know MLS fans now know what its like when liga mx brought players like zarate and maranhao or whatever is ********ing name was. sad to see it had to be two of the once brightest young mexican players to bring that aspect to the league
The sad story of these 2 players should be a warning to Mexican players everywhere. If you care about your playing career and World Cup roster chances...stay away.
"If you care about your playing career and World Cup roster chances...stay away." This is the issue, not how old he was when he joined the league. He joined and still played well in both club and country.
