Gio was at his best in 2010. The truth is that not many people can keep up their level of play that long. Speed goes first. Gio's drop in form is crazy though. He looks like a shell of himself and that's being nice.

 

2010? It was 2014 where he was one of, If not the most in form player.

His track back to slide tackle and stop a Cameroon attack late in the game was an unmistakable play - not just his performance against Holland or the two goals wrongly nullified...
