thanks for the reply, I was unaware of that. Still, it would be off the charts if we could have our own anthem at some point to sing while the teams are walking out of the tunnels.
was I hearing things or did I hear Hells Bells when the teams walked out? The heat makes people a bit delusional so I may have been dreaming that but I could swear I heard it (much in the way I heard the announcer saying full player names instead of letting us yell the last names).
lol. I wish I had the ability to care what they think. DOOP is supposed to be played over the PA. It's done that way in the Bundesliga and we're just sticking with that. We may have some borrowed traditions, but at least we get em right.
Looked it up and they had an official attendance 18,800 for their last weekend home match. Still about 6,000+ empty seats not including season tix holders who leave their seats empty a lot.

We just need to work on our Bon Jovi for when the Pink Cows show up. Something about "Livin on Welfare"
OK, laugh at me, but couldn't we just do something simple like change the lyrics of Sweet Home Alabama to Sweet Home Philadelphia? Not many words, everyone knows the song and beat. Something easy to jump up and down to. Sweet Home Philadelphia, Where the skies are so blue, Sweet Home Philadelphia, Lord we're coming home to you! I actually was in a hick bar once at ECU many moons ago (place called The Attic) with a live country band. Me and some other guys from Philly were pretty tanked and started screaming this version when the band was playing the Sweet Home Alabama version and the whole place tried to lynch us.
If we go country, might as well throw down: Chester roads, take me home To that place I belong The River End, the Sons of Ben Take me home, Chester roads
