Sporting are 4th in the league and far from in contention to catch the top 2 teams. I wont say there season is over, but they are only playing for Europe now(if that). Its pointless for him to play in the derby.imo.
On another note, it’s nice not to care about whether or not this transfer goes through. You still seem to be really pissed about these outcomes. You should let go and let God, hillbilly.
Every time I lower expectations our club seems to outdo itself and step even lower. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. Now get back to work. My lawn isn’t going to mow itself, peasant.
Johno views sometimes depends on when he comes into the conversation. If he gets in and the consensus is a then he goes f*** it it's b
On this window, I honestly believed we would get in 1 new player. Given how ridiculously thin we are I figured even that dipshit Woody would get us a single decent center mid this window. I never expected for than one signing even though we clearly need 2 CMs at a minimum. But if he doesn’t get a single player this window, it will be clear that he’s even worse at his job than we thought as unbelievable as that sounds.
We know of his ties with Wolves, but is there another reason for Mendes's presence at OT? 1217545421809168390 is not a valid tweet id
Supposedly agreed player terms last night with Mendes, Mendes now taking our offer to Sporting - with addons 70mEU with no player loans. Source the ever reliable media in Portugal. THURSDAY.— Sport Witness (@Sport_Witness) January 16, 2020
Castles is another reporter claiming that personal terms have been agreed upon with Fernandes: pretty much the consensus at this point. And that the deal is just a matter of time now with both clubs having to come to an agreement. With Mendes apparently having been brought in to help conclude matters.
. Sporting manager making it clear that Fernandes will play in the game vs Benfica. http://sportwitness.co.uk/sporting-...aying-regardless-manchester-united-situation/ Not ideal obviously, but he's still their player for the time being. Plus, it doesn't look like the player himself is not looking to take part in that game either (which is no surprise considering this game is a big deal for both teams).
Highly Skilled and athletic. He seems to enjoy defending a lot more than Pogba ever did. But he's more a try hard, than someone who understands where to be and when to do things. Has more of a motor (gets around the field). Has a lot to learn, but he's an 8 IMO. Im not sure he's ready to help us immediately. He's technically accomplished. His touch, his passing, his dribbling are all good. I wonder more about the mental and tactical side. Things like IQ, decision making, etc. But he is young.
Soumare obviously has tons to learn but it's pretty much what is expected from a 20yr old after all. His natural ability and strength is above the margin. He's shown an ability to shine on the big stage already: he dominated Ndombele last season pretty easily and this term, he acquitted himself very well in Lilles's CL games vs Chelsea and Ajax especially. It's often said we need to spot and acquire potentially big talents early: he fits that type of billing to a tee, from my point of view.
Doesnt sound like what we need. If we get Bruno we need a proper 6, not another 8. Worry about that when Pogba leaves. Between Fred and McT we have enough "energy". We need quality right now.
Yeah as an immediate need for this January window, he isnt top the list. I feel like he's closer to an 8 than a 6, but he has played both roles.
I think its funny how we're talking about getting in two CMs this window. Its clear we've done no work ahead of the window opening up and Woody sure as hell as completing two signings in 30 days.
