Everton host Sporting Lisbon at Goodison Park today in the Europa League round of 32. Tim Howard and Landon Donovan, who have I think both started every game they have been available for Everton this season, should be in the starting lineups as usual. Streams should be available at the usual sites.
It should be a similar lineup for Everton to the one that defeated Chelsea, but Heitinga is unavailable due to being cup-tied with Atletico Madrid and should be replaced by Yobo or Senderos, while Pienaar might start ahead of Bilyaletdinov.
I think for stream reliability/quality, I'm going to pay for the game at uefa.com. Just wanted to remind people who may have an extra $9.95 kicking around, that option is there.
Senderos is doubtful apparently so yeah I wouldn't be surprised to see Joseph Yobo alongside Distin. Pienaar back in must be a near certainty. Team news should be out in about 25 minutes.
From the Twitterverse: FourFourTwo Everton's six-a-side side: Howard Baines, Yobo Saha, Donovan Arteta, Dustin Cahill, Neville Pienaar & Osman Subs.
Howard, Baines, Yobo, Distin, Neville, Pienaar, Arteta, Osman, Donovan, Cahill, Saha Patricio, Mendes, Carrico, Izmailov, Tonel, Fernandez, Grimi, Veloso, Moutinho, Liedson, Abel
LOL. This early Tuesday kickoff time is infuriating for me. This will be the first Everton game I've missed any part of since Donovan went on loan. If they just would have played it at the normal time, I wouldn't have class.
----------Howard------ Neville---Yobo--Distin---Baines Donovan Arteta Osman Pienaar -----------Cahill------------ -----------Saha------------
Substitutes: Carlo Nash, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, James Vaughan, Dan Gosling, Aiyegbeni Yakubu, Jack Rodwell, Seamus Coleman
As a college student, I scheduled my classes around Champions League. That part of me sympathizes. As a full-time working man now, I schedule my lunches around seeing a half of a game and then seeing the rest via Gamecasts. That part of me has no sympathy for your missing your first Everton match since LD joined.
pssst. not everyone has the same internet access at work you may have. hell, not everyone even works in an office.
I am very thankful for my snowday (as a teacher) so i can watch the game. As a matter of fact, it is the only reason I am happy with the snowday. I just hope the streams dont crap out, as they have been wont to do.
UEFA.com matchtracker: http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/matches/season=2010/live/index.html Donovan on the right with Arteta and Osman in the Center, Pienaar on the left and Cahill/Saha up top.
