Not the forum for it, but it will be interesting to see Darlington play under a pretty talented coach with some pretty gifted midfielders and attackers. Poor guy still has a crap MLS defense behind him though.
Not the right forum, but what you mean "still"? The poor guy used to have Diego Chara behind him, who is much better player than the poor guy himself.
It looks as though Atlanta needs a Jermaine Jones type player. Maybe even Jermaine Jones himself? He might be good for enough minutes down the stretch to be worth blowing that allocation money they have on him. Nevermind... http://www.tmz.com/2018/03/07/jermaine-jones-ditching-mls-retire-europe-coach/
My fault. He now has a crap MLS defense behind him. Although for me crap and MLS defense are synonymous. Not looking for a fight here, it's just my opinion.
Watching Donovan going to work gets me all misty-eyed. I just love watching the man play soccer, what can I say.
Chara is probably my favorite MLS player to watch. The speed at which he creates chaos is breathtaking at times.
America scored the 2-0 at 68', went down to 10 men after a red to Paul Aguilar at 73', Donovan came in for Cornejo at 77', and the game ended 2-0 to the locals.
Lando looked hungry out there and livened up the offense. He started a few good offensive sequences but when Leon players weren’t skying shots over the bar America was just shutting everything down.
¡Donovan! El estadunidense cobra con clase y empata el marcador. 2-2— Dale León (@daleleon_mx) March 14, 2018
They need to do something because they only have five games left to recover and make the liguilla, and they've been dropping points like crazy.
I dont understand why the media is hyping up this Leon/Quakes friendly as LD's homecoming, the dude has played like 20 games in SJ since he left in 05
