Only hope is that he somehow gets caught up in the FIFA corruption scandal.

Well, at least there is THIS

No private investor with half a brain is going to give any money to this crook. Going to Belize with two stops along the way? Seriously? Yeah no wonder its sooooo expensive:rolleyes:

    @balompiedom

Just the same old FEDOFUTBOL. Before the excuse was getting all the players into the country was difficult because they were in foreign leagues. Now that many play in the DR now they still can't get the NT together for practice.

Oh and now they have two coaches that can't put their heads together to make a viable game plan. One is a coach who just happens to be from Osiris' hometown, who also just so happened to start his son. Oh and that son is a bench player for San Cristobal FC.

What...you all thought Osiris was going to make a connection in Miami?? The FBI would practically be waiting for him with a "Welcome Mr. Guzmán!" sign at the gate. :D

BUT NO, BLAME IT ON THE PLAYERS

What a joke. the FEDOFUTBOL continually handicaps the national team with its incompetence yet it has no problem throwing the players under the bus. How could they expect them to perform when:

-They get no time to gel as a team. The final roster was put together only 3 days before the qualifiers. Not only that a good portion of the team hadn't played together in months despite having 3-4 friendlies prior. All because the coaches wanted to "test" new players, without any particular plan in place. On the other hand Belize had been practicing together over a period of 5 months.

-It takes 15 hours for them to get from the DR to Belize. That's nearly long enough to go from LA to NY and most of the way back to LA. The distance between the DR and Belize is about 1,900KM, while NY to LA is about 4,400KM. They still weren't in Belize half way through Saturday.

-The FEDOFUTBOL can't even ensure that all players travel documents are in order. Having your starting CB, and by far best defender, get left behind because of visa problems is absolutely ridiculous. There's something wrong when you just can't get simple and logical things like this in order.

-The FEDOFUTBOL also couldn't name a single, competent head coach. What national team names two head coaches? Neither with much of a reputation. All the while you have a new pro league with good coaches that have experience working with some of the players on the national team. But hey, I guess being from Osiris' hometown has its perks.
