“Pjaca is still out, and he’ll have to play with the Primavera before [he can be considered for the first team].

“Howedes has resumed light training with the team and is close to returning, whereas Benatia will undergo a second round of tests today.

“All the others are available. Including Matuidi, Sturaro, De Sciglio and Marchisio.

    12. Pjanic / bruise right thigh / 31 Oct (7-10 days)

Bosnian midfielder Pjanic is unavailable after picking up a bruise to his right thigh during Tuesday’s 1-1 Champions League draw at Sporting CP.

He will be evaluated next week, so won’t be released for international duty.

The good news for Max Allegri is that Howedes is in the squad and hopeful of making his debut for the first time since arriving over the summer, as the German defender has shaken off a muscular issue.

Maybe we see Marchisio this weekend now.

I thought Pjaca was back now too?

They shouldn't rush him one minute. Look at what has happened recently to so many prospects who have been rushed back on the field.

I think I read somewhere that Cuadrado picked up a knock during the international break. Has anyone heard anything similar? Pjaca may be back just in time.

Additionally, Juventus posted that Howedes is healthy and raring to go.

Bentacur was not included for the traveling party to Samp but no indication if he picked up an injury while on international duty. Pjaca will play with the Primavera today and should finally get off the list.

The striker looks set to miss the trip to face his former side Napoli on Friday, having broken the third metacarpal on his left hand.

Today he underwent surgery at the Sedes Sapientiae clinic, and the Bianconeri have confirmed it was successful.

“Higuain’s return date to team action will be defined over the coming days.”

The club also announced that “Lichtsteiner has aggravated the flexor muscles in his right thigh and will be assessed in the coming days”.

It looks like we are never going to have a full squad available this season at this point.

It could be worse. Look at Bayern Munich. This is expected, especially with the number of fixtures we play and players who go on international duty. Allegri does a good job of rotating and finding playing time for those on the bench so that they are ready when needed.

So far, the only news is that Chiellini has been training with the team and is expected to be on the roster for Napoli.

    17. Mandzukic / calf strain left leg / 30 Nov (?)
    18. Howedes / right thigh strain / 30 Nov (?)

Removed Higuain from injured list despite surgery for the break of the third metacarpal on his left hand. He is on the roster to play, so he is good to go.

Lichtsteiner has aggravated the flexor muscles in his right thigh and will be assessed in the coming days.

Mario Mandzukic is unavailable after picking up an injury to the calf muscle in his left leg, while Benedikt Howedes has picked up an injury to the quadriceps muscles in his right thigh, both during the course of today’s training session.

We have been fortunate for the most part in that they have been small muscular injuries, which are expected. Bayern Munich has been hit hard with injuries this season.
