I was just reading up on Ethan Horvath and read he's of Hungarian ancestry on his father side. Not sure if he could have played for them. I know that Tim Howard's mom is Hungarian and he def could have played for them. I wanna say also that Peter Vermes has a Hungarian father.

Edu and Gooch's parents are Nigerian.

But what about other players on our team? Whose the kid or grandkid of foreigners? Are our NT players religiously diverse as well? How about geographically? Are most guys on the NT from the East Coast or West Coast? Working class or suburburban background?

Lichaj, Guzan, Miazga are all of Polish descent (either parents or grand-parents are Polish).

I could take a guess on what religion Pulisic and Roldan are.

Here's a list from the Copa America Centenario:

    https://www.univision.com/deportes/.../the-united-states-a-team-of-12-nationalities

From the last game against Chile we have the following dual nationalities:

    J. Gonzalez, O. Gonzalez: Mexico
    Horvath: Hungary
    Yedlin: Lithuania
    Brooks: Germany
    Miazga: Poland
    Trapp: Greece
    Pulisic: Croatia
    Roldan: El Salvador and Guatemala
    Lletget: Argentina
    Ramirez: Colombia

Apparently Zardes has Ghanian ancestry but I'm not sure if he has dual nationality.

This isn't true; it started when some Ghanaian soccer message boards seized on his first name only. But he does have some Brazilian ancestry though:

Zardes is African-American (the origin of his first name is Ghanaian) with a little Brazilian mixed in from his great grandfather.

Something we should be honoring and showcasing. But not only that, we should acknowledge the working class element of many of our NT players. Guys who may have made far more $$$ had they only went pro in baseball or football rather than in soccer. That's commitment.
