JJ Abrams - “Rey’s parents are not in Episode VII. So I can’t possibly say in this moment who they are. But I will say it is something that Rey thinks about, too,”

Good, it's a lot more interesting that way.

My theory, Rey is another immaculate birth like Anakin, or she's linked to Obi Wan somehow.

Space Jesus sucked enough the first time. We really do not need Space Jesus 2. Here's hoping your theory remains fan faction.

Maybe her parents appear in Rogue One.

He already admitted he was lying.

Same guy who said that Into Darkness didn't have Khan in it, remember?

I was thinking the female heroine in Rogue One, Jin Arso or whatever, is her mother.

There's a disturbance in the force! Star Wars spin-off Rogue One is 'so bad Disney chiefs ordered FOUR WEEKS of reshoots'

Disney bosses are apparently so alarmed at how bad the new Star Wars spin-off movie Rogue One is that they have ordered four weeks of expensive reshoots in a bid to salvage the project.

I seriously doubt there's anything really wrong here. Re-shoots are normal, practically a matter of course. There's no hard sourcing for any of these notions that Disney is upset or "panicking" as one report I saw said. The Force Awakens also had some re-shoots in the summer before its release.

There's no way Disney was gonna give young Mr. Edwards total artistic control. Kathleen Kennedy was always gonna have some say over the final cut, hence the re-shoots.

    Awesome. Blame Canada!

There's a ton of SW-ST fan fic out there. I wouldn't mind the current Nutrek crew to travel to the SW galaxy to encounter Mandalorians, Jawas, Wookies, etc. Maybe in the upcoming ST anthology series which will be set in the old timeline, which I disagree with, btw, Nutrek altered future history, let's stick to that alteration.

Glover is pretty good. I'm actually happy they picked him.

I doubt there will ever be a consensus on a casting

    I am 100% behind Glover

Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the Star Wars films, is in intensive care after suffering a heart attack during a flight, her brother says.

Fisher, 60, went into cardiac arrest minutes before the end of the London to LA flight.

One of the things she did in London was appear on 8 out of 10 Cats. I guess it might be her last public performance.
