Not terribly sad to see Drmic go. He wasn't working out that well for us.

What about the rumoured € 35M offer for Bellerabi? In my view you have to sell a player who can go for significantly less next summer for that amount of money. Bellerabi is good, but not irreplaceable.

Always assuming what Morgenpost reported is accurate.

If Man City wants to spend that much money on him, then go ahead and sell him. 35 million is a lot of money for one player. We could buy a couple of replacements with those kind of funds.

    G'day Bayer,

Any word of Robbie Kruse's progress with his injury?

Solid win on Saturday. Kießling's goal just before halftime was big for us. Need to keep this up to start to solidify the Champions League place.

No new signings this winter, but they do get a key player returning Tin Jedvaj returning from injury. Looks like Leverkusen management are putting good trust into their young players like Brandt, Frey, and Henrichs to step up and play a larger role.

For refusing the referee's orders and throwing a hissyfit of epic proportions? Don't think too many will agree with you on that one.

Got the job done at home against Sporting at least. Great goals scored by Bellarabi and Calhanoglu. Some tough teams remaining for the Round of 16. Very high quality competition in this season's Europa League.

Can't say that it looks good for Leverkusen right now. More than half of the starting XI out injured. Chich has been the only thing going right for them, and he's suspended for one game. Augsburg will probably win easily in the upcoming match up.
