or tap ins, which have been like half his goals this season. The guy is very terrible with the ball at his feet.

he has with respect no business in the NT, and no business at all being a player that has won "the world cup," or eventually CL with Bayern..................................................................

Probably WC 2018 his last chance to even represent Germany in a tourney

I know some of u don’t rate Sandro Wagner

But he is exactly what u need from a Plan B

U play him when things become desperate, probably the opponent Park the bus and u need a different way of scoring

So u wanna take advantage of wide crosses or set-pieces. Then his superior aerial ability will be very useful

He is a better aerial threat than Gomez, let’s face it

I am not a fan of Wagner too, but I totally understand if Loew brings him to the final roster.

We have Werner or Reus who can play at the striker position, they are both skilled or quick. But if we need an alternative plan, we want someone who can offer something different with a certain level of dominance.

Sandro Wagner is someone u can put in there and make a difference because of his aerial ability. And sometimes when things don’t go well, or becoming desperate, u need someone to change the rythym of the game

also this is a 26 man squad which means 3 guys won't make the final squad for the 2 friendly games. I think 1 striker at the min won't make it. Also took 6 midfielders not 4 or 5.

no Reus, no Gotze, no Schurrle either.

Sandro Wagner won’t make it unless Löw really loves him

Why bother bringing three goalkeeper’s though in a tourney, why not just two and a player more in the midfield pool or something

Löw: "It is important that Reus is carefully introduced"
Marco Reus was not nominated by Borussia Dortmund. Löw says: "At Marco, it is important to us that he is gently and without further pressure brought to the top level and gains in stability, which includes first and foremost that he is free from complaints and fit and regularly plays and trains over a longer period, finds its rhythm and thereby gets security and trust. "

Basically Löw explains to the squad: "We have an extremely wide range in some positions, but not in others, so we also need players who are flexible and variable.Though the door to the national team is not yet closed, there are still some players left who are still under surveillance and have a chance if they convince us in the coming weeks. "

I also hope Wagner joins the other terrible player in Mustafi off the squad. Max is likely one of those players, same with the other keepers.

Unfortunately, it's a rule to bring 3 goalys.

3 keepers make sense. If your main keeper is injured you still need 2 keepers, one to start and one ready in case of emergency.

the question is why are teams only 23 man squads? Why not 24 or 25? Even more so with the whole 4th subs in extra time is allowed.

Reus needs to prove himself more in the last 2 months in order to get a chance for WC. From this 26 men, 3-4 will be trimmed off. My guess will be Rudy, Wagner, Ginter and Stindl who are just average players. Of couse if Neuer is back from business, he'll be selected.

If Reus and Gomez are healthy and effective, Stindl and Ginter have to make way for them, otherwise only Stindl stays as Emre Can can be used on RB and CB, Ginter is not needed.

Low will surely bring only one of Gomez or Wagner, and on current form and overall ability Gomez surely has it. The fact he is back at Stuttgart will also help him gain favour I think.

Low has named the Squad for upcoming friendlies with Spain and Brazil. Almost all the names you would expect, but excluding the trio of attackers from BVB.

    https://www.dfb.de/en/start/

    http://www.espn.com/soccer/germany/...munich-players-in-26-man-squad-for-friendlies

    GK:. Leno, Ter Stegen, Trapp

Def: Boateng, Ginter, Hector, Hummels, Kimmich, Plattenhardt, Rudiger, Sule

MF/F:. Brandt, Can, Draxler, Gomez, Goretzka, Gundogan, Khedira, Kroos, Muller, Ozil, Rudy, Sane, Stindl, Wagner, Werner

No Reus (injury knock), Schurrle, or Gotze.

Lopetegui and Deschamps love to call up and test new players, Loew doesn't, why?

Lowe has called up enough new players including a bunch of guys at the confederation cup....the only argument can be made is Max Philip should have gotten a chance instead of Platenhardt...otherwise he is absolutely spot on...he has dropped Gotze and Schurrle
