Except Bada Bing is actually alive to see Messi play. James' most common argument was that the current footballing era was weak and this could of course be proven by showing that a 20 year span sometime in the past had more great players than the single, current year. But yeah, I guess the underlying incentive to prove that point was that it makes Pele look better than, for example, Messi.
hmm, actually there is 1 one more difference. @Bada Bing uses a statistic frome somewhere and claim it to be fact. James used to said "Fact said ....." or "no more speculation, ...... " He used to argue with that way. He just used to do that, no link no document no citation, no news or no reliable source, reference. sometimes he used to cite number of goals or assists like "Player A, 3 assists, 2 goals in 4 matches. Player B, 6 goals and 0 zero assists." and then he used to deduce " fact said, Player A was a playmaker while Player B is a striker". (not exact word by word but that was the way he used to argue.) In fact this forum got way better since his departure but now it is not as comic as it was with James. @JamesBH11, if you are reading this, come please. Let us remember, recall nostalgia.

He had a temporary forum ban I think and then never returned. I don't think he is permanently banned but his style of posting was immensely frustrating. I'm sure he was a nice guy deep down but he rubbed people, including me, up the wrong way.
@Pipiolo seemed to be his pen-friend. @greatstriker11 was a 'fan' of him. even though they were quiet similar in style, @Bada Bing and @JamesBH11 had rivalry, but friendly rivalry. one of the best debates of him was "Ronaldo was sold behind his back, he realised his transfer to Inter after everythinh was over". as a 'proof' for his assertion he brougt 'irrefutable, undeniable, absolutely reliable' evidence which was a citation from somedody from simplyfutbol.com
