Okay. That makes more sense. And I agree.

I remember Cepero's goal specifically because it beat out Will Johnson's volley for Goal of the Week, which I thought was a terrible injustice. Will was obviously ultimately vindicated with Goal of the Year, but the memory sticks.

I don't know about Goal of the Year, but this goal by Quincy Amarikwa is pretty nice.

    Unfortunately, Borchers could only watch.

What exactly was he supposed to do in that situation? What was that keeper doing that far out? It was perfect placement for that ball though.

This week's Goal of the Week contest is ridiculous.

Personally, I like SKC's goal the best, even if it's Douche Dwyer who finishes it, the buildup is unbelievable.

But then you have the crushed balls from Pappa and Amarikwa.

Sunny's smashing headers is a nominee, but it doesn't stand a chance this week.

Did you guys notice Borchers raise his hand when Amarikwa took the shot? Kind of a funny and sometimes annoying reaction by defenders. Whenever you have no chance to stop a guy from taking the shot just raise your hand and plead for an offsides call.

I think he saw Amarikwa lining up the shot and was trying to signal the goalkeeper.

Nat talked about it on OnFrame last night, he wasn't really trying to signal anything, just one of those moments where he got caught not being able to do anything about the shot.

OnFrame was fantastic last night with Wingert and Borchers both on at the same time, some really good stuff.

Luis Suarez doing what Luis Suarez does (no, not biting opposing players), scoring goals.

In the argument between skill and luck, I'm leaning toward luck.

I was referring to the person scoring the goal, not the goalkeeper. ;)

I may not have watched carefully enough. I'm distracted by trying to actually work while posting to BS. :-D

A bunch of goals from the MLS entitled the Best Goal Ever: All MLS Teams. Lots of volleys and bicycle kicks.

    http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2016/04/14/best-goal-ever-all-mls-teams?autoplay=true

RSL is in the highlights twice, once for Will Johnson's goal from 2008 that won Goal of the Year (I suspected as much) and also for Chicago's best goal back when RSL was still playing at Ute Stadium (good times, good times).

Don't forget Eric Cubo Torres' wunder-volley against RSL that won Chivas' best goal ever.
