Yes! I like the way Atalanta plays, very aggressive on closing down their opponents. I really hope he comes here. He seems like the man who can handle our players characters and put stop to their nonsense.
If it happens then I am 100% for it. The football he had both Genoa and Atalanta playing over the past 5 years is top class.
EDF had very nice football when he managed Sassoulo. the only thing Roma didn't try since the Sensi days is bringing a quality Coach , and when i say quality i mean someone who won something of value in his career. Gasperini will just be another EDF , we need someone like Conte.
The only concern I have is whether he can replicate his system with the players we have now or will he require another summer overhaul? He's a quality coach but like EDF, he has a very specific system.
Won’t happen. What he’s doing at Atalanta is special right now. Imagine he somehow gets them 4th. Why ruin that magic to go to toxic Rome.

I dont think thats too far of a stretch to imagine. I think they would have been 4th last year if you didnt have to deal with their first Europa league campaign.
Gasperini had both Genoa and Atalanta playing above their heads when he coached each team. I think he is more prepared than EDF but then he would probably lose it at Roma.

I don't dispute that. Doesn't mean rumours about sacking our manager and our DoF leaving mid-season is remotely beneficial for the club.
Wait, we want a coach who will finish 2nd or 3rd ,only plays one system and can’t rotate players. Oh yeah also hasn’t done well in CL Seems reasonable.....
dont want sarri he's proven in chelsea that he could only play with his brand of football, and we don't have the budget nor the player to satisfy his requirements. would rather have conte who'd make players like giaccherini and victor moses perform well in his system
