Xur is back! doubt I have the needed resources to buy anything or the proper level but I do plan to go look at all his stuff like the kids from the opening scene of A Christmas Story
And his location is shown in the director. No more Xur-hunting. I wonder if he'll always be up in that tree when he visit Nessus.
Especially now that he isn't at one of the home base areas, would have been fun if/when you went to the Moon he was on a message popped up letting you know he was on it but you had to hunt to find him.
Really digging the Crucible a whole lot more this time around and love that game mode where each team has a set number of lives, I forget what it's name is.
Are you talking about Survival? I'm kinda digging Trials of the Nine more than Trials of Osiris. Went flawless this weekend, got some nice loot too. What's great is that my entire clan also got a Trials weapon from Hawthorne, only at level 10, but easily able to infuse to a higher power level. So people don't even need to play Trials to get loot. A few of us tried running through the Nightfall last night, made it to the final boss a couple times, but ran out of time. Not liking it as a timed event.
Yup, that one. I don't think it needs to be a best of seven series but other than that I love it. That is awesome to see the entire clan gets a reward even if ya don't participate in the trials. Can't wait to try out a Nightfall strike, still gotta beat the campaign though. I now have two characters who are just at the point after unlocking the Strikes, Challenges, and Patrols. Question for all you high level power players, is there a beneficial point after hitting level 200 to use tokens and weapon parts? ps. sorry if I mentioned this before, but the music on the farm is great.
I used tokens before hitting level 200 and had no issues, I leveled up quick. I also saved a lot of high level weapons from my first character and then gave it to my 2nd when I hit level 20 and my Titan went from a power level below 200 to 238 in an instant. At that point I leveled up some factions and turned in a couple engrams. btw @NORML you should pick up D2 on PS4 too, come to the dark side, which you originally started on lol
Ya know what, you are right. I've always said I planned to have the game on both consoles but it is pretty silly for me to wait. Better to snag it now and catch up with all the 8-bit members and join in on some fun. Not like there is any must buys for me this Oct. anyways.
What are all you talking about not going back to the farm?!?! thanks I definitely will reach out to ya for a wingman if yr on. I think it just plays into the mood of the setting conveyed at the farm; overcast lighting, the large fractured smoking portion of the Traveler in the distance, and the run down nature of the barn and farm houses.
my biggest issue with the game and the same with Destiny one....if you have a group of more than 3 but less than 6 there isn't much you can to together, aside from Crucible. I have a group of 4 that will play together regularly and just wish we could hop on a planet and work on Public Events...
Wasn't there a work around for that? Like say you go to the EDZ with three people, have one or two leave the fireteam and then have the extras join one of the three players? Or am I misremembering, I swear I joined up with groups of 4 or more on planets in Destiny 1. General does your group have a clan yet? Maybe us on the xbox should all group up to have a better chance of hitting clan milestones and what not.
I'll have to research that, I know in Destiny 1 we figured out a way to get the 4 of us into the Forge...
In Destiny if you left a fireteam you'd stay where you're at. When I've left a fireteam in Destiny 2 however it's booted me to orbit.
Booooooooo This has me wondering about something else though, why when looking at the Orbit screen in either D1 or 2 would they show you where a person on your friends list is if you couldn't join that same lobby? I never understood that.
The pain was just too much to take. I'd see him online playing with his other friends, and my heart would break all over again.
