Wasn't sure I was going to pick up Destiny 2, but decided to take the plunge. If I can get a choice in console, I will choose the XBox. I much prefer XBox's interface when it comes to anything multiplayer, and I prefer the controller as well. I know you don't get the complete game, but it is what it is. I own a PS4, but the only games I ever get for it are console exclusives to PS4. Everything else is XBox.
That's how I used to be, but I've shifted to PS4 on a lot of stuff because too many times I was the only one on Xbone playing it. That and a few of the games I play have more stuff exclusive to PS4. I haven't played a game on Xbone in a while, although I will probably pick up Cuphead on Xbone instead of Steam. Other than that I can't forsee another game on Xbone that I'll be playing.
I was all set to get the game on the PS4 since none of the regulars showed an interest but then bdead changed his mind and decided to pick it up.
has anyone had any luck on the Pop Tarts promotion? I can't get it to work. reached level 20 over the weekend, starting to get some good gear.
I can't get the Pop Tarts thing to work either, it said 48-72hours and that was on Thursday. Nothing yet from them. I got my Hunter to 265 light already, trying to get him as close to 300 as I can for Trials this weekend. Started in with my Titan as well. Got my Mida Multi-tool back, so I'm happy about that.
I like getting engrams for sh*t other people do. aka Clan rewards with Hawthorne. I did do my 5000 pt contribution though, at least for the PvE side of things.
Great game, but I'm already burnt out. I've had way too much Destiny over the last three years, I don't see myself playing this one much longer
I've got a couple of favorite shaders but I'm holding off on assigning them to gear until I get stuff I know I'll keep.. I like that you can assign shaders to ships and sparrows...
I'm swimming in shaders already. Might differ from the majority, but I'm ok with them being one-off consumables, and applicable on an item-by-item basis. Don't forget they can also be used on weapons.
I love the Clan stuff being right in the game. Maybe it was how awful D1 story was but I am loving the campaign this time around and really enjoyed how Bungie rolled out strikes and patrols in this game. Also just wanna add, OH MY COTTON SOCKS is Cayde still great
With Pickle Lovers abandoning ME I had to find a new wolfpack, thankfully Mach1 was wiling to let me join up with him. Actually, can Clans be cross-platform?
PLuv wasn't a clan, it was a way of life. Power (light) levels for the Leviathan raid were announced yesterday. They amount of streamers/content creators that were whining about now being over-leveled was unbelievable. WAH! I'm close to 300, but the raid only needs me to be 260. I played the game too much ... why didn't you tell me, Bungie?!
I guess the question would be if your clan hits an engram on one platform, would it also show on the other?
Yeah I can't see being able to work towards the same goal for a Clan on different consoles, be cool if you could though.
Between the Xbone and PC, you'd think there could be the possibility of cross-platform saves. Maybe are already talking about jumping ship to the PC when the game comes out in October, but are bitching that their guardians won't make the transition. I'd think Sony's exclusives have something to do with this.
Waiting for the rest of my clan to get to the appropriate power level. Almost done with the campaign for my 2nd character.
