Are you serious?!!! WTF are you doing?!!! As Ombak said it has never been shown here and it sucks. Plus you also broke your own rules, saying that there would be a vote. There was no vote, you just sent all the submissions to some misterious designer who or whoever it was. May be even there was no designer, may be you just picked your own shirt and said this is the winner. If it's true, this whole thing really STINKS.

If i'm reading this correctly, i'm assuming that ISN'T the final design it's just one that BS have submitted into the running... a bit odd.. but still..

He was posting the design, nothing more. If he had said "we chose this one" then you would have a point. He's simply putting the design out there for everyone to see (I would imagine he received it via PM).

    Sheesh:rolleyes:

I apologize, I shouldn't have interpreted it that way.

It does suck though, whether that makes me a jerk or not.

Actually, I kind of like it more now that I looked at it again. The lime color doesn't work for me. But I like the design.

Hmm, maybe I was a jerk. Sorry.

I think the design is neat. I think the colors are wrong.

We hope to unveil the design tomorrow or Wed. We are just deciding on whether to go T or Jersey, and what the shirt color should be (blue or yellow for bigsoccer or red and white for USA)

    Sounds good. Thanks.

Incidentally, I would like to know if I am a jerk.

One of these days, Huss is going to go Milton Bradley on some poster.
I hope I'm there to see it.

I can feel the anger festering.

Considering the global scope of the site these days, I'd go with the gold n blue.

I think I'd prefer the US team colors, but BS colors wouldn't stop me from buying it.

I think I'm 55% for a jersey 45% for a t shirt. Again, slight preference and as long as the design doesn't make my ass look big or anything I'd probably buy either one.

I think maybe we might want to see the design first before deciding.

It's hard to say I'd want a jersey over a T if I don't know what thay'd look like, y'know? On top of that, how can we make a choice of colors without knowing what the design looks like or even what, exactly, the colors you had in mind were.

I was under the small impression that this was a design contest and I think a few others were, too - mostly because of this misleading line in your first post, " Now you can win a free jersey in the BigSoccer Store if your design for a celebratory shirt gets picked!" Perhaps you maybe should have said "give us some suggestions on what you might want on a shirt so we can take those suggestions and make our own shirt from them all."

That gold and black jersey from early on in this thread looks great the way it was presented, but I doubt it would look as nice in different colors or as a T-shirt. Likewise, some of the T-shirt designs probably won't look as good as jerseys in colors not imagined by the designer.

Two of the submissions were chosen, and our designer used them in combination to create the final, inspired, design.

    Gotcha.

How about picking the two color schemes you and your BigSoccer minions would be most proud of and post them here in T-Shirt and Jersey style and let us pick from the four options you give us to settle on the final shirt?

(oh, and maybe add the prices for each option, too? Some might shy away from a jersey if it costs too much, y'know?)
