It was nice to see a Colombian team win however they still missed many chances for goal differential. But three points are three points. I really liked that Albornoz on the left wing. Very active, very fast. Now if he can learn how to cross a bit more consistently he may be an option for the Seleccion one day.
incredibly fast player...Enjoyed the match although their Central defenders are iffy. I don't know how they do it but Tolima has for YEARS been a really consistent team that seems to get players to play at a very high level, sell and do it again and again. Quality players like Darwin Quintero, Marrugo, Medina, both Chara's, Uribe, Villa, Barrios and the list goes on and on. Their DTs have also been on point and tend to have longer spanning projects than most Colombian clubs. Anyhow, big win and I hope they can now take it to Boca and come home with at least 1 pt.
For yor information, Albornoz is continually criticized by the tolima's own supporters in social networks...
Just like C. Borja was criticized by Bogotanos and is now going to probably be our starting LB. What people say on social media is practically meaningless to me.
That makes sense. He can be very inconsistent for all I know. But when it comes to attributes that can help a team win that is what I look for. Speed kills on the wings.
Played great and better than Boca in the first 45 minute but collapsed at the beginning of the second half and received 3 goals in 12 minutes. Too bad.
Definitely Tolima lost it's shape after that 1st own goal. That goal differential may haunt them later on. Hoping Junior shows up today.
F*%^&CK!! Just like against Wilsterman, Marco Perez had the winning goal within his grasp in the last seconds of the match... and again he butchered! 4 points and the qualification lost in those 2 moments!
It's sucks to lose two goals advantage but I saw the match and to be honest, Montero saved you tons of times. Boca was much better in my opinion and Montero made a hell of a job. But I do understand your frustration.
Is Tolimas goalie good? They will most likely go to the final. He is 6’5 so maybe the NT coach will call him as that is what he wants out of a keeper
He was very good last match agaisnt cucuta......but he have made a lot of mistakes and bloopers too since he is starter after montero suspension.........probably for finals Montero will play again.
It is extremely unfair that Tolima will have to play the final against Millonarios without Jaminton Campaz. At least this horror season will come to an end today.
teams should sue the league for the BS. Stop playing the playoffs like group stage when was the last time eliminated teams played?
