Davies is not better than Clint, but he is very useful. Hodgs needs to have something on the bench in case they go down or in case Zamora injures himself again.

Personally, I think it is a mistake. You just don't leave one of your best players on the bench in hopes that he can come off the bench and make some magic.

I am glad Hodgs took my advice and moved gera out of midfield and put him as #2 striker. He is finding his true form up top.

I said on the other thread that the first 25minutes would be crucial as Fulham starters have had a pretty long layoff (in their current schedule anyway) and Hamburg have the new manager bounce.
