Di Marzio with an update (I think) saying Inter are interested http://www.calciomercato.com/news/l-inter-si-inserisce-alla-corsa-per-yedlin-184141
This seems to indicate that Roma had reached an agreement with Seattle. Does that mean Inter is a little too late?
Generally the crowds at Open Cup games are pretty small; some teams will play at alternative sites. New England goes on a tour of the region, playing in places where they don't play normally. No need to open up the big stadium (with all the related expenses) for a pretty small crowd.
Best place to watch those matches are at the home fields of the smaller clubs. That can be real fun at times - like a minor league baseball game.
Oh I do. I work early mornings, so I get home at 10 am, and have nothing to do all day while everyone else is at work
Even if they were in time he would be foolish to pick Inter ahead of Roma. Inter hate young players and they brought in a manager in Mazzarri that has had a reputation for not properly utilizing young players. Just bring it up to a Napoli fan and watch them complain about it.
Exactly. Incredible risk on a player who just seems like he has amazing speed. I am sure he can turn into a decent fullback or even a great fullback, but he still has so much more to learn. Plus he is you know American so he has to be cheap.
if it was to leave today, I think it would be too low. If it was for him to leave next summer, it would be perfect (assuming the loan terms are reasonable). I believe he is only signed through the 2015 season so getting $4m for him when you could lose him for nothing in just a few months makes a lot of financial sense for every one concerned.
