0-3 Van because I've been forced to teach two toddlers to recognize and extrapolate patterns, lest I be adjudged a derelict father and rendered persona-non-grata on social media.

I'd rather Murrdcu had been on the ball this week and posted first, but I suppose someone has to be held responsible.

How sad that this team is so bad that it's pre-game thread can't even get a sticky one day before the match.

Anyway we can put the whole team on the no fly list because the way they play is an affront to humanity? On further reflection wait till they get there then make them stay

This is one of those weeks where if we lose it's especially bad. There are two games that move the red line higher no matter what the outcome. If we lose we could be in a 4 game hole from playoff contention. No pressure.

Strong possibility Lucho won't play with a wonky ankle on turf. I'm hoping Buscher gets a shot. Another Sarvas game isn't required, try something different.

I'm not a massive Beuscher fan, but I couldn't believe he couldn't get off the bench v. Chicago the way it was going. Agreed he should get a shot if Lucho can't go.

I thought Beuscher was coming off injury last week and wasn't 90' fit. Maybe he's ready to go but I want to see Acosta terrorizing the Vancouver defense. If Acosta can't go, we are better off in another empty bucket 4-4-2 like last weekend.

Gosh that hurt to type that.

It hurts less if you think of it as a 4-2-3-1. If our wingbacks get forward, it'll hurt even less than that.

    Mullins
    LeToux - Acosta - Sam
    Harkes - KitchenIMeanJeffrey
    Kemp - Opare - Birnbaum - Korb

Isn't Ramadan beginning? How does Hamid cope with fasting all day (includes no liquids)? I remember reading that he is observant. Can't see how you could play 90 minutes under such conditions.

Isn't there something in the Koran that allows those whose jobs depend on them performing physical work to avoid fasting or postpone it to a more convenient date?

I think if you replace the seasonal, straneous work of the farmer and replace that with the straneous training of an MLS goalie this should easily workout.

Included under physical ability is strenuous work which a person cannot forsake during the fasting hours of Ramadan due to his needs or those of his dependents. It is not obligatory for a Muslim for whom fasting is obligatory to fast during the daylight hours of Ramadan if he cannot postpone his work until after the month of Ramadan or if it is not possible for him to work nights. This is because he must work to meet his expenses or those of his dependents. Examples include laborers, porters and the like, especially those who work under extreme heat conditions or for long hours.

We could also play all games on the road that month as Bill would fall under the traveler exemption.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Travel is a portion of torment; it denies you your food, drink, and sleep” [recorded by Bukhari and Muslim].

    [/i]
Of course travel today is not as straneous as it was thousands of years ago, well, unless you fly United.

Don't worry. Our owners are so cheap that soon enough they'll stop buying plane tickets for the team.

Not worried-- he's been doing this for years now. And soon enough, the dread of a freshly collapsing back line will drive away the hunger pangs.

OK United at least hit the post in tribute to the passing of Gregg Allman. He was a hell of alot better at what he did than you'll ever dream of being at what you do

Let me tell you, that was the worst ********ing news. DCU could win by 10 goals and this still would be the shittiest day ever.
