I'll just get this out of the way and say Connor Doyle scores the winner in the 76th minute.

I'm not a doctor, nor did I ever take latin, but if I brake down the injury referred to as "mononucleosis", Collin is either braking down into a single cell organism or his game is. I'm not sure what the "osis" stands for.

Except this guy scores and he doesn't hang out offsides.
They both have a good Olsenesque workrate though.

Hey … I never hated LP as much as most and I don't like CD nearly as much as that goal suggests I should.

In the end Doyle reminds me of Pajoy in that he's excruciatingly painful to watch. The first 60+ minutes last night he was beyond atrocious. Lack of vision. Only able to go backwards. Lack of speed. The only saving grace is that he defends. I'm convinced that seeing Doyle on the pitch will never fill me with joy or anticipation.

You can't spell Pajoy without JOY.
You can't spell Doyle without OY!
I agree that he doesn't bring joy except when he scores. #magichairband

More than anything you want to go here and get a result for the psychological benefits, both for us and against them. We need to show that we can adapt to what happened last time, we need to show that we can get a result on their field, and with all their games in hand you want to deal a direct blow to them both in points and, if you're lucky, their mentality as well. Even if they go on a run of draws that helps us immensely.

    Very well said!

I just hope that this time someone is marking Giovinco the whole game.

Hopefully someone can give his hammie or calf a knock.

At the very least someone should volunteer to give Giovinco mono...

This should be an interesting game.
Maybe we'll have some regular outside backs in the game to keep their wide folks more honest. Hopefully Opare is in the middle if Altidore is starting, he's better against taller more physical forwards. Jozy isn't that dynamic so Kofi should be able to handle him just fine. Hopefully Kitchen is doing his best old-timey Richie Williams imitation and annoying the hell out of Giovinco the whole game.

0-0, even though it will annoy me while it's happening, would be nice. 2-0 DCU would be better :)

no f'n way I'm clicking something from you with the word secrete in it. No. Way.
.... pretty sure that's the best way to get mono

Sign Geoff Aunger and Ivan McKinley and let them double team Giovinco.

Couldn't answer the poll because I have no idea what some of the answers even mean. We will lose. Unless Ben pulls something else out of his ass.

Go all Chile on them and stick a finger up Giovinco's butt and get him red carded.

I'd also add Kovalenko so that Benny has the roster flexibility he may need.

So what's the over/under on Arnaud dishing out a red card tackle that puts Bradley out of the Gold Cup?

    My guess?

    ------------Hamid--------------
    ------Boswell----Opare-------
    -Mishu------------Birnbaum-
    ------Kitchen---Arnaud------
    ---Aguilar-----------Deleon---
    ----------Silva------------------
    ------------Espindola---------

Subs: Arrieta comes on for Silva in 60th minute, Halsti comes on for Arnaud in 75th minute, Doyle comes on for Deleon in 85th minute

Will go 1-1 with Giovinco and Espindola scoring the goals.

No chance Rolfe, Korb, Kemp? were benched in Chicago to not start here

    I'd say

    Hamid
    Korb Boswell Birn Kemp
    NDL Kitchen Arnaud Doyle
    Rolfe Fabi
