I don't watch Supergirl, I tried the first episode and couldn't make it any further. The Flash has been the best DC tv show the past two seasons, I may have to rethink that now.
I understand that, by "anyone" I meant the comic book/super hero fans that are watching these shows...
The Buffy musical episodes seemed to go over well with that crowd, I never watched Buffy so I can't comment.

Or at least in the standalone Batman flick. Since Affleck is directing it, he might have more freedom to leak these kinds of things. Plus, Deathstroke seems like a minimal character to put in Justice League, unless it's similar to Crossbones at the beginning of Civil War.
Something fresh and new for a Batman movie would be my guess. Plus the Arkham game from a couple years ago had Deathstroke as the main villain, so that could have played into it as well.
"Once more, with feeling" is a classic. Though Joss Whedon wasn't the first to experiment with form that way within a long-running TV show. They did the same thing on "Xena" a couple of years earlier.
Who says he is, though? I mean, yeah, it's heavily implied - or is it inferred - but who knows. Could just be Batfleck trolling us.

Maybe DC is just better as animated films outside of the Nolan Batman trilogy. I do have my hopes up for Wonder Woman. But then again, I prefer DC to Marvel.
It's annoying to know how much potential there is for a good product, but then see the execution be so horrible and now they can't get out of their own way.
