Well, that was a call.... I don't know what Arriola was supposed to do. Also, I thought you weren't allowed to stop on PKs
The man stopped his motion in the run up. Isnt that illegal. Paul Arriola's arm is by him body, but he leans toward the ball with his arm. I guess thry expect hands behind back.
I get hands behind back when defending the run of play/one-v-one, but not on a free kick when you need to protect your body.
I have been watching soccer for more than 30 years. That was the worst hand ball I’ve ever seen called - by far. That was literally the definition of clear and obvious error.
Mrs. Adler asked (10 minutes ago, after the PK) DCU's on. Why aren't you watching? (I was tracking the score on my phone). My reply: Hah. Yeah. Right. Soooo, should I start watching now?
Another good ball to spring a counter. Paul takes it the rest of the way since he didn't like where Rooney was. 4-1
I've felt bad for Cincinnati since I went to a game there last season, and the fans seemed very nice, but after that bulls**t PK, I want DC to score 10 (or better still sub out some players for Sunday) Please sub out some players....
3 points on the road. It's Cincinnati though. That was the type of professional result that should happen and actually did. Everything about that penalty and the take were bullshit.
