What: A vital match in the playoff hopes of both teams. Where: RFK Stadium When: Saturday, 24 September, 7:00 pm eastern Why: Because more than half the teams in the league have to make it to the playoffs TV: Newschannel 8. There are more games left. There will even be another game against Orlando. Nevertheless, if DC is serious about getting into the playoffs, this is one of the last home matches against one of the other teams vying for the last playoff spot. We'll see what DC brings. On the one hand, I think DC has been playing steadily better and with more confidence at home. On the other, I would argue that for the past few years, DC United has made designated players for other teams look good, so I wouldn't be shocked if Kaka dashes DC's hopes in this game. Here's a smug baby alligator for this match.
DC United: 4 Team of caca: 1 Our last Saturday home game/tailgate. You have a duty to Lot8 to bring it hard I hate this Orlando team for making me dislike something purple. I believe I last had that hatred for Barney (the stupid TV mascot-like dinosaur, not any person actually named Barney - for you people lucky enough to be unaware of such evil in the world that ruined the innocence of Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato amongst countless others) Plus, Brek Shea's hair-dos
Jesus christ, now, after the DC game, he's going to have double that. Have you no respect for the soccer gods and their wrath? I'm going to have to self-flagellate for two hours of the tailgate, put burning tea leaves between my toes, and do something unconscionable with a rabbit's foot just to get rid of that mojo.
Crucial game for DC United, they are giving away Military T-shirts for the first 7.5k, or one can go see the Opera in the outfield at Nats park (The Marriage of Figaro). I suppose I can tailgate and go to the Opera, but there will probably be more drama with Caca on the field, so it's a no-brainer. Hopefully Ben can kick him in the nuts when Caca comes close to the sideline! ps-Why is such a shitty player playing for Disney!?!
For f♢ck's sake, you can't make this $h!t up. And a far bigger jackhead than me (and 20-30 of his fellow travellers) already posted this and similar pics.
And if you need a laugh . . . http://americansoccernow.com/articles/game-of-throw-ins-10-hbo-ready-soccer-players Landicakes is a literal LOL
For what it's worth, Sports Club Stats says that a DC win boosts our playoff chances to 61 percent (from its current 45 percent). A loss? 17.6 percent -- about 1 in 6. We're going to need more than one goal. But not much more. 3-1 to the good guys.
I have my opening league game Wednesday night...if we don't win tomorrow there is a very high chance I don't go to the Columbus game...and that would be the first time I chose playing over going to DCU
According to DC United, the lower bowl is SOLD OUT for tomorrow's game. The team is now selling standing room only tickets that allow for GA access to the upper deck.
Let's win this sucker. Need 3 points. We giving away free t'shirts We gonna have a black and red cammo out in the stadium
Does not being conversant in or even remotely caring about what I asume is Dungeons and Dragons related drivel diminish my enjoyment of soccer?
Apparently to those who have a fantasy life in mom's basement every-freakin'-thing. And in saying that I'm discounting any possibility that this is just an Oakland Raider fan who has fallen for the beautiful game
