That is the problem with Outlook, it just "subscribes" to different calendars but doesn't synchronize them into a "master" calendar.
Credit where credit is due --those little pennants they gave out last night have no advertising on them, which I presume means the team paid for them themselves.
I wish I could have got one, I will never be one of the first x,xxx fans in the stadium. I have every other banner they sell.
Check with the Screaming Eagles. Paul was going around before the game handing out extra banners in Section 232.
I'm in section 232. (but never in before the game, out in the lot doing work for Paul, ironically) - thanx!
I have to give the FO credit when due. There have been no t-shirt launches or throws into the stands this season. I don't remember the last time there was one.
What's the matter with them? I miss them. A phony way to manufacture crowd excitement? Perhaps. But it helps get the crowd excited
It can be fun to watch little kids run and try to destroy each other for a chance at catching a free advertisement/piece of trash basically
So.... who else stood in the longest STH Members Only entry line ever? What the hell was up with that? We walked up prior to the Anthem, it was at least the 22nd minute before we got to our seats. fatbastard didn't want to get in line, said it would filter down to nothing, yet hoards of people kept getting in line so.... we finally got in line. Seemed like most of the people had printed app/email tix, finally someone came out and asked if everyone was a STH, suddenly we moved forward and got in in less time than we had already been waiting.
Maybe (starting next year) the FO could print the STH tickets with a special marker and color to easily ID them. Otherwise, as long as that line is shorter than the others, I'll use it.
It was all lines that were ridic long. I just don't think they are equipped at all for when more than 12k show up and most walk in at the sametime. Not the FOs fault, CSC needs to open up more lanes.
It was all lines, but I specifically went to the STH line so I wouldn't have to deal with that and it was just as bad. I assume non-STH were in the mass of people.
We park in Lot 4 and went to the gates at the far south end of the stadium -- no one in line there. Of course due to traffic ******** ups downtown and on 295 North, we didn't get to our seats until the 12th minute. Never happened to me before, and I've had season tickets since 2000.
for contrast here is an SI piece on LAFC FO: https://www.si.com/planet-futbol/20...ansion-2018-penn-thorrington-stadium-standard
Yeah, okay - but it is a great piece on how to build a team and FO that is proactive and not reactive. As DC is basically heading into MLS3.0 they should've started something like this a year ago. We know that there are a ton of moving pieces and that new teams have a bit more leeway to build than existing teams but I think the stadium opportunity could've been an ignition piece for the whole franchise. james
