Toby is gone he's voiced frustration and he wants to get paid, unlikely that Spurs are gonna pay him. Davison has done really well and Spurs are solidifying that they don't need him, either way good for Davison to be a nailed on starter even with 2 very good CB's. Guy is going to be unreal in 3-4 years.

Not his best game so far today, his positioning is being exposed badly by gabriel jesus

He'll learn from this experience. Just nice to see that he's not injured as we're less than 60 days away from the world cup.

He usually is able to get away with his deficiencies in positioning because of his pace, but against players that are just as fast its something he needs to adjust to. Better he becomes aware of it now than come World Cup time

As long as they keep their current coach it’s a great place to be but he really only has top 2 clubs in Spain, Bayern or PSG as options if it’s not a move to a bigger team in england. I just don’t see other teams being able to afford him he cost Tottenham 40 million he isn’t leaving for anything less then that so no one else can afford him. Maybe Juve if they trade a player+ money deal.

If Klopp does a long term deal with Liverpool would be cool if he goes there.

Somewhere online said he the 2nd most expensive defender worth close to 90 million. Not saying he worth that or will go for that but when you get to those numbers not many places to go.

So he wasnt on the bench today. Was it for his bad performance last match or just to rest him?

Likely to rest; Sanchez has a large rep at the club and the fans love him. I am not too worried.

As an arsenal fan, it’s hard to cheer for Tottenham but as long as Davinson is there I hope the team can continue to keep its top stars and build a team that can compete for EPL and CL trophies.

Davinson is a gem and the fútbol world has yet to see his maximum potential

Real Madirid will probably still swoop in and give Spurs a blank check if he has a World Cup I think he may have though.

I actually think he would be a better fit into Barca's system.

No because Barca fans would scream, "I thought we got rid of Yerry Mina!"

He'd struggle at Barca his passing isn't good enough yet. Mina is actually pretty well suited for Barca, he just needs to play and be given a bit of time. He might not get that chance though unfortunately :(

His start (DS) was actually as a MF so he does have the touch/skillset of a MF. With Nacional and Ajax he made many deep passes into attack and at times pushed deep into the final 1/3 of the field. At Tottenham, since they mostly play with a line of 3 in the back he doesnt have that type of freedom and therefore has become a bit more restricted with his play but disciplined with his back line. Tottenham is a very high possession team. He's faster than Mina from the onset (Mina can catch up with many but he tends to be a bit more flat-footed). Early on before he went to Tottenham rumors were that DS was to be the new CB at Barca.

With that being said, I love him @ Tottenham specially because I think he can learn a lot from Pochettino who has shown great confidence in him.

Athletically he's one of the most gifted CB's in the world imo, he does have good passing but for instance when Manchester United played Ajax in the final they marked De Ligt in order to force Ajax to build out through Davison. De Ligt is great on the ball so its not like Davison is some scrub but at Barca you're basically a playmaker so a CB has to be really good on the ball since you have it more then at any other club. Davison is still really young and he'll get there but imo Mina is better to have on the ball and I think Tottenham are a great fit for him, give Davison 2-3 more years of development and he'll be world class imo.

I most definitely think Sanchez would’ve been the better option for Barca. Ive watched most of his games with Tottenham and his passing isn’t as bad as some make it out to be but he also has the speed to compensate for the high line Barca play which you can see Mina has had trouble adapting too. It is still very early to tell how he’ll do but I’m not too sure. Hopefully he can handle the pressure cause he’s been getting ripped to shreds by media and fans alike.
