Well, you got what you wanted kromekote.
Spurs are out of the Champions League which means less matches for Davinson to play in. :p

Did anyone watch the game? According to FutMob, Davinson had the lowest rating among the spurs’ defenders.

When I left work I thought spurs were going to go through. That commute home always ruins a score

Watched the first half and thought he was by far the best in defense..he also set up the initial ball which led to the goal. I missed the second half though.

I started watching after Juve scores both goals.

He was pretty active in trying to set up another goal. His short and long passing seem pretty magical for a defender.

To me Spurs popped their pants. Tied in Italy were 1 up at home then imploded

Spurs had that game and the tie in the bag when they were up 1-0, then they were outsmarted and naive vs Juve who stayed patient and broke their press at key times. I didn't really see Sanchez making any mistakes I can remember, Spurs always find a way to ******** up though, they are very good but they just can't put it together in the biggest moments year after year. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, they were dominating the first half and Juve couldn't defend them attacking down the left.

I think he tried too hard to step up close to midfield a few times. He has does this in many games but this time Juve made him pay on the second goal. They did a quick pass to Dybala and he did not have anyone around him.

Spurs just needs a taste for glory. If they can win the FA cup or something and also take the experience from Champions into next year I believe they can really grow into a major player. Depending on a lot of factors like players staying and Poch sticking around as well

this. However, in that thru pass from Higuain to Dybala someone had to step up to Higuain and follow the running player. That was a defensive mistake that started with the defensive midfielders not placing pressure in the right spot. Ultimately, Juventus played with incredible patience and you could just tell their maturity on the field made all the difference. Sanchez didn't have a good game but neither did the team as a whole.

Yes, they also said during the broadcast someone from midfield should have gone back so there may have been some miscomunication and the Juve players just made a great play.

i watched the Chelsea vs Spurs game today, and Davinson was an absolute beast. I can't believe he's just 21 and plays like a vet.

Yeah, kid is gaining an inmense experience at such young age, the only player that comes to mind that was exposed at that amount of pressure and responsibility was James when he moved to Monaco, and even so he was 22 I think and obviously the pressure in the EPL is much higher than the French league.
We all know the NT biggest weaknesses which is the mental aspect, with players like Falcao James we start changing that.
To put it in simpler terms; we can play like sh.it and still win key games.
Hopefully Yerry Mina start getting mins at Barcelona and that would really gives us a world class defensive line.
I mean I remember the Copa America in Chile when we played Argentina. We had freaking Jackson Martines 1.85 mts "strong in the air" and Mascherano 1.74 mts eat him alive. Jackson didn't won a single air ball in that game, Mascherano was all over him. One had all the experience in the world playing in aggurably the best team in the world and the other, playing for the best team in Portugal.

    agreed

From what I've seen he has a lot of confidence and personality on the field. Under Poch he will only get better.

He also got toby aldeiwatever benched.

    Heard Barca wants Alserweireld

Would be awesome if they do a Mina swap for that guy. Mina-Davison club starters and NT starters would be fking magical

I heard about Alderweireld rumors recently. I would imagine if that were to happen two scenarios would play out.

    1. Mina goes out on loan somewhere
    2. Vermalean goes and Mina-Toby are rotating with umtit-pique

The better the season goes for spurs the less likely they will get rid of Toby to Barca.

Although I wouldn’t mind a swap deal where Mina ends up playing next to Davinson at club level too [emoji4]
