So you are basically going to root for Juventus in the second leg so all he has left are premiere league matches left on the schedule?
As I alluded to before in this thread I think Real Madrid would be wise in going all in on Davinson. Ramos is old and Varane since his injuries has been "meh",
No thanks..... Real and it’s fans are too fickle He will be their best defender 1 year then they will buy some big name to bench him the next for no reason
I happen to think that he is so good with so much potential that there will not be a bigger name to replace him any time soon.
If his manager goes to Real Madrid then he can follow him other then that stay as long as the manger stays at Tottenham
At his position it may not be that way. Finding a solid CB that has his technical ability in small spaces, skill to move up with t the ball and the presence of mind to know what to do if things go bad is rare in this day and age. It is the reason why he went to Ajax and was gobbled up quickly by Pochettino at Spurs. If he showcases his skills deep in the Champions league and possibly World Cup knockouts (God willing) then it will be inevitable that a team like Real Madrid will try to snatch him away.
I've watched 90% of his Tottenham matches this year. DS is doing a great job but to be fair he has his faults and is also in a very competitive league/team that's trying to compete for top 4 EPL/Euro champions. All this without any 'transition' period and having been one of the most expensive transfers for the club. Even our most successful players as of recent years (Ospina, Falcao, James, Bacca, Cuadrado etc)., have had some transition period. Let's have some calm with DS. I actually like RM but the success of a player should not revolve around, if you make it to RM or Barcelona.
Even though he's not likely to win trophies with Spurs, the league and competitiveness that he will get exposed to will be the best investment for him.
The reality is if a young player performs well at a high level domestically in the big 5 euro League and Champions League along with doing well at a World Cup he is probably going to go to one of the biggest and best clubs. And that means Real Madrid or whoever with a big paycheck can come in and swoop him away.
You guys know how is the market... If Madrid wants the player he will get it. Even if it means paying a crazy amount Now I'm a firm believer that if you get the opportunity to go to a big club, just go because you might not know what happenes in the future. You guys all know C.Zapata story, dude was a huge prospect and linked every sumer to many different teams when playing for Udinese
did he? I seem to remember he just never played his first season at Napoli. And their manager at the time (Walter Mazzarri?) refused to put both Armero and Zuniga at the same time, was always one over the other on the left.
Yup. His best moments in Italy came during his first stint with Udinese, before transferring to Napoli.
he only played there in 2013 and played veey often like 35 times....scored and assist few times then in west ham only 5 times that was critical they loaned him for 6 months and napoli bought him in summer after good presentations
I am pleasantly surprised that Sanchez has kept his consistency and form sharp. No injuries and he's a main starter, I can easily say that he's going to be in fine form for us this summer.
his best but not the only. for a reason napoli bought him 6 monthd after he was signed by loan. ( or use the copropietta) played very often.
admittedly his stay at Napoli was mostly a blur for me. Can't remember very well, I always thought he was brilliant at Udinese.
