I Agree with dropping most of the players but in a 23 man squad tournament time I would prefer to have Hummels as a backup to the CB. With injuries and or yellow cards, having a Hummels as a backup can not be bad at all.

The other guy Is Muller , but in Mullers case we have so many other options currently if all fit then we can do with out him.

In 1990 Beckenbauer also brought Augenthaler(33 years old at tournament) surprisingly to many and he played a brilliant tournament.

Just saying that Kroos (to soft) and Reus basically hardly featured at tournament and Neuer , would be great to have had a guy like Hummels still part of the team.
Not saying he must play , but as a backup and a guy who can guide the youngsters i would have taken him along ...

Rudiger, Tah, Sule and Hummels ....??!!??

"Ter Stegen is talking like he had already won 17 World Cups. He doesnt have a claim and there is no discussion about the fact that Manuel Neuer is the German no.1."

Sounds like Germany will indeed avoid relegation:

Apropos, Germany have been overtaken by Holland and Italy on FIFA's ranking and currently Germany wouldn't be among the top seeds in the preliminary draw for Qatar2022.

Amiri the surprise inclusion. Will he even play? Stark has yet to play but has been included for months. Can is barely playing at Juventus and getting NT call up?

Nadiem Amiri of Bayer 04 Leverkusen is in the squad for the German national team for the first time. Leon Goretzka and Nico Schulz are out due to injury. These are compared to the squad of the September internationals the only personnel changes in the current squad for the two upcoming internationals on October 9 (from 20.45 clock, live on RTL) in the classic against Argentina in Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund and on 13 October (from 20.45 clock, live on RTL) in Tallinn in the European Championship qualifier against Estonia. With captain Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos and Matthias Ginter still count three world champions from 2014 to the team.

Commenting on the national team's current situation, coach Joachim Löw said: "We are on course to qualify for the European Championship and of course we want to bring home a clear victory and three more points in Estonia, where the team and the players are in a development where it's up to us is to give them space, time, patience and trust. The players should and must be able to gain experience themselves, which is why games against strong opponents like Argentina are very helpful, where not only the result is in the foreground. Rüdiger, Draxler, Kehrer, Goretzka and Schulz some of the players we rely on in the rebuilding process, which inhibits the development and the bringing in. In such a process, continuity and constancy are important, but on the other hand, it always offers opportunities for young people , hungry players are there to present themselves to us.We are pleased to meet Nadiem Amiri in person. He has performed well in the past U21 European Championship and in the games with his club and earned a call. "Nadiem Amiri deserves his call-up to the German national team and has earned it by putting in strong performances over a long period of time. I'm happy for him, and he's incredibly proud of himself," Bosz said at the pre-match press conference ahead of Leverkusen's clash with RB Leipzig on Saturday.

If one notices new call ups over past 6 months, Stark, M.Eggestein, Waldschmidt, and Amiri (starting from Oct) and so far none have made their senior NT debut. I really hope Low plays Stark, Waldschmidt and Amiri, he's got 2 games including a friendly, no excuse.

    Low praises Waldschmidt.
National coach Löw followed the match live in the stadium and said after the game to Bild of the performance of Waldschmidt: "He has made a very good game today." Very agile, very dangerous. "

    Waldschmidt should get chance
He was re-nominated for the upcoming matches of the national team against Argentina and Estonia. In all likelihood, Waldschmidt will be allowed to celebrate his debut for the senior national team there.

When asked about a possible assignment in the DFB team, Löw commented on the picture: "I think so, that is quite conceivable." Not the worst conditions for his debut.

As in the case of Marc-André ter Stegen, Waldschmidt will also get his chance.

It remains exciting to see whether Luca Waldschmidt manages to establish himself in the national team in the long term. In the focus Waldschmidt last played in any case. Due to his high speed, his move to the goal and the strong left foot, he is in the current form inevitably an asset to the DFB team

    so what's the injury list.
Kroos, Hector, Ginter, Rudiger, Trapp, Draxler, Kehrer, Goretzka, Sane and Schulz.

    anyone else?

10 players almost a full XI's worth of players.
at least Reus and Gundo are fit.:D

would guess Stark might finally get some playing time.

lol, he's not quitting if they lose he'll be like we were missing 10 players and playing newbs. A disgrace at the Euro is what could force a exit. Although not sure I want to see the team flop.....
