glad he's done with NT, lol. Ornstein: “Arsenal have tried to sell Mustafi pretty much every window after they signed him.” pic.twitter.com/bNv1vucSZs— AFCnewsroom (@TheAFCnewsroom) June 26, 2019
Here's what the four U21 stars told Bild when they were asked if Kuntz is capable of succeeding Löw, whose contract runs until 2022, when his time as Germany coach is up. Luca Waldschmidt: "Of course I trust him to become coach of the senior team, that's no question for me at all. He has proven that he's successful. The way he deals with the players is very good." Benjamin Henrichs: "When the Löw era is over at some point, I absolutely trust him to succeed him. Kuntz knows what matters." Mahmoud Dahoud: "We trust him. With all his experience, he could certainly train the senior eleven." Eduard Löwen: "I'm sure Kuntz has what it takes." https://bulinews.com/news/2912/germ...an-kuntz-to-succeed-joachim-low-in-the-future
Stefan Kuntz and his staff should be in line to take over as soon as the Euro 2020 tournament is over. The most logical successor to Löw, and the transition should be made easier if a handful of players make the jump with him. Smart coach and seemingly a good man too.— Jonathan Harding (@JonBloggs66) June 27, 2019
What's this supposed to mean? Adidas is coming out with a new kit? And it will be black and white? Cool...
if Kuntz is only signed until 2020 August, I wouldn't mind if he takes over from Low. The Low era needs to end once and for all. Time for a change. I always enjoy watching Kuntz's Germany, while Low's Germany is half the times fun, half the times frustrating. And Low and his stupid blacklist and favoritism too.
the interesting thing about Kuntz a lot of us here (me included) I recall 1 year ago wanted Kuntz to take over the senior NT. and the dfb was like we got no Plan B, it's Low or bust, there is no one else to take his place.......you had Kuntz, promote him. Now 2 consecutive U21 Euro finals in a tough tournament. And he's a better tactician than Low too. he'd be a Superior Southgate and that bum Southgate managed a SF at the WC18 lol. Even Spain had Lopetegui was also ex Spanish U21 coach.
Totally agree, Kuntz was and is the perfectly logical choice. He has done a great job with the U21's. I also wanted him to take over post-WC, the only bad side to that is it would be a shame to lose him from the U21's. Would the DFB adequately replace him?
I doubt they would, he's the only good youth coach we have. This Summer a good chunk of the dfb youth coach left (got axed) we are getting new coaches for a lot of levels. They all deserve it, they aren't good enough. Not sure how such a rich country with vast resources can't hire good youth coaches, very few good ones. Not a huge fan of his but Ex 1BL coach Manuel Baum is going to coach the U20s next season. Wonder if he would be offered the U21 next Summer if this happens? On the + for him, he looks to work well with youth players and is an ex youth coach too.
Leak experts other than you will right away realize the two black stripes at the bottom. It's going to look like this I guess:
Weeks have gone by and DFB search for a new president is a disaster. Spiegel leaks information that the following persons have already rejected the DFB president job: Herbert Hainer (former Adidas boss) Klaus-Peter Müller (former Commersbank boss) Thomas de Maizière (former minister of the interior) They dont know what to do atm
Easily one of my least fav kits...the ridiculous wide sleeves made it more horrendous than it should have been anyway.
I think it's the most ugly one of my life time. And the memories of 98 arent fond ones to say the least.
DFB will build a 2nd "Campo Bahia" in Herzogenaurach for Euro 2020 https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...po-bahia-in-herzogenaurach-63030994.bild.html
Low says that 2 possible candidates to succeed him are Kuntz (U21 coach) and Sorg (assistant coach). https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/...g-deutschland-dfb-trainer-wechsel-reaktionen/
Kuntz has options. https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/stefan-kuntz-bundestrainer-loew-sportstudio/ Klopp and dfb seems possible if everything aligns right. https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/...utschland-dfb-berater-kosicke-nachfolger-low/
Former RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick says he’d like to manage Germany, telling Zeit: "Being a national coach is one of the things I would think about in the future.” #RBL #DFB #DieMannschaft— Ronan Murphy (@swearimnotpaul) July 10, 2019 #Bayer04 Leverkusen‘s Mitchell #Weiser: “I think I can make it into the national team. I have the quality, but I have to deliver”.— German Football Daily (@GERFootDaily) July 9, 2019
Not sure Weiser had a good chance. Two things, Kimmich already there, with Klostermann as first choice of backup. Second, Low has a bizarre prospensity to play CB as fullback, which in this case Kehrer.
can we call him back to the NT? This is absolutely nuts. The Germans have got 69-year-old Klaus Fischer (an ex-pro and now a TV pundit) smacking in overhead kicks live on the telly. @GaryLineker could never. pic.twitter.com/5kVpQDHxXS— Ball Street (@BallStreet) July 10, 2019 hasn't played for Germany since 1982. Although the original clip was from 2010 so he was 60 then.
Fisher was known for bicycle and overhead kicks. in WC SF vs France, massive goal scored in ET. it's not easy to do an overhead kick to perfection. Just look at the comments of that tweet, mocking ex England player Gary Lineker and his inability to do this type of thing. Looks like Fisher never lost his form.
