At least i can see something in Younes' game: amazing dribbling, bravery to take on defenders and can provide width on the flanks

Draxler has become a mediocre nowadays. Just dont see any specialties in his game. Not even good at dribbling or creativity anymore, and he isnt a fast player. He was a decent finisher before but dont see that anymore

'Those bloody Germans will catch us up if we don't act now': England manager Gareth Southgate can joke about old rivals but is deadly serious on fears for future of the national team
Southgate light-heartedly warned that England's biggest rivals Germany, despite their failure at the 2018 World Cup, were busily putting in plans to make up the gap on nations like England.

He said: 'When things are going well it is a good time to review it, and keep improving; not to sit back, either as a league or a national federation and think, "OK, it's all going well". Because those bloody Germans, they will be doing stuff, they're out looking at how they get better.

'I can read the articles about them having conferences, "We need change in this, change in that". We have to make those changes and keep improving while we're in the position of strength, not wait until we are six or seven years on from this and it's, "Why haven't we done that?" It's good to review things when the momentum is positive.'

He backs the FA's proposal post Brexit, which is to allow all Premier League clubs to have 13 foreign players in a 25-man squad from any territory — Africa, Asia, EU, America — and increase the homegrown quota to 12 players.

'I think the proposals have tried to balance keeping the success of the Premier League and recognising that is a product that works for us as a country,' said Southgate. 'But we saw 40-odd million people or more enjoying last summer and the impact of the national team as well and what that can bring.

'We are trying to achieve something that not many others have had a chance to do: a successful league and a successful national team.

'That's a huge challenge. But I think the proposals that have been put forward have said, "Look, there's a certain level of players that we think it shouldn't go any further [than] and there's got to be change so let's have this grown-up conversation about it".'

Seems like Low is announcing his squad for the next 2 Euro qualifiers Wednesday, same for Kuntz and the U21 Euro Squad. There are some reports that say that Klostermann and Tah are making the senior squad for June 8-11 and the U21 Euro tournament on June 16-onwards.

Will Mario Götze and Kevin Volland be called up this time? Both played well in the limited games i watched. Volland can play at the wing too, very versatile player. Also nice to see the transition of Havertz, from a midfielder to be one of the three forwards leading Leverkusen's attack and scoring so many goals nowadays.

so Rudiger is out injured while Stark just recently returned to fitness. Seems like both could miss out the June call ups.
