All fixtures will begin at 20:45 CET.

The international fixtures are great because they allow us to travel to various different regions and see all our fans, as well as playing in both large, expansive stadiums, and smaller arenas such as Mainz.

the current talk is that Oct 9-10 missing game could be vs Brazil or Argentina.

also this whole year barely any chances to experiment as only 2 games from 10 are friendlies. Does Low even have a set XI????

    Neuer is most likely done

His data is nowhere near elite since his return

Be interesting how long he can hold on at Bayern before they seriously look at replacing him

If his performances don't return next season, then we will begin looking for a replacement. It's easy to forget that he missed an entire year of football.

When he conceded the goal this last weekend he looked terrible during his attempt to save the ball. Like a fish on land, a real shadow of his former self.

The data cliff can be steep for a GK

still he is not that old for a keeper

Low promised last year that Halstenberg will get a recall in 2019. And Halstenberg wants a recall too.
    https://fussball.news/artikel/halstenberg-hat-nationalmannschafts-comeback-weiter-im-blick/

currently LB options are Schulz, Halstenberg, Max, Hector, Plattenhardt. Not going to mention U21 players.

Hector needs to comeback in 1BL and perform 1st, Plattenhardt never really convinced for the NT and even his place at Hertha is in threat of being taken by one of the U21 options Mittelstadt.

So Gladbach and RB Leipzeig have the best defense so far in Bundesliga conceding only 18 goals in 20 matches...Ginter, Klostermann and Halstenburg all 3 of them having very good season...

yeah Klostermann is someone Low has brought up before but for post U21. There is also 00-Beyer from Gladbach playing CB/RB (although a cb he's played rb because he did well in friendlies during Summer and there was a need for that position) for them, had some fitness issues but is still very young. One for the future.

Long time no see, but if there's a pattern I see for the NT and Bayern the last years after watching Bayern's game yesterday, it's the fact that the coaching is quite underwhelming leaving the defenders exposed for numerous 1v1 situations, midfield can't hold the composure for 90 minutes and the attack is bland

And you know that Müller's been Bayern's best player going forward the last games :whistling::thumbsdown:

Rudy and Plattenhardt have had the biggest crashes careers post WC. Neither should be called up anymore and neither were NT material to begin with.

    You are forgetting Grosskreutz :p

By the way, I quite understand the decision to take Plattenhardt. One need to remember Halstenberg's injury back then and not to mention Nico Schulz stock was not as high as presently. Going forward Loew need to stick with Halstenberg and Schulz. I'm more worried with right side. Kimmich is a complete fraud of RB, he is worse in defending than Mitchell Weiser. So who we got for RB? I would like to propose Da Costa and Klostermann. But this is Loew we're talking about, he will stick to Kimmich and Kehrer since he never seems to bother with real full back.

I think you meant Air Mustafi for RB and Lord Howedes for LB. lol at Low playing 4 cbs at the WC in 2014, we even beat everyone with Howedes as LB. Although Mustafi's injury was a blessing as he almost costs us the Algeria game, only then did Lahm start playing RB again.

Thats the double edge sword with Kimmich, very good in attack but attacks way too much and leaves space, needs to restrain himself. Or needs cover from midfield, which he did not have in 2018 WC. Honestly I'm not impressed with Kimmich as DM. He looks better as an RB.

Low promised in end of 2018 that Halstenberg will get a recall in 2019, so that one is settled. As for Klostermann that's a player he's mentioned by name as a senior NT call up prospect although like other youngsters seems like we might have to wait after the Summer U21 Euros. Which would mean him and any U21 player will miss 3 Euro qualifiers out of 8 games.

da Costa is also getting hard to ignore and he's stated numerous times he wants to get a call up but has heard nothing. I think further Frankfurt goes into EL the more it'll improve his chances.

I think a reason why Loew doesn’t bother to take in a 2nd RB is because of the squad building

We have some obvious choice at CBs and he doesn’t wanna take more than 8 defenders.

Sule, Rudiger, Ginter, Hummels, Kehrer will be there; 2 leftbacks so maybe 1 right back only

    My team now will be:

    GK) MATS, Neuer, Leno

    RB) Kimmich, Da Costa
    CB) 5 mentioned
    LB) Nico Schulz, Philipp Max

CM) Gundogan, Demirbay, Can, Weigl, Kroos

Wing/aM) Gnabry, Brandt, Havertz, Goretzka, Sane, Reus

    CF) Werner, Selke, Volland

    26 players

Klostermann is the best RB of Bundesliga this season and Weiser is showing significant signs of defensive improvement under Bosz...

We need Kimmich in CB as Kroos is expiring...also of late Weigl playing a lot in CB and doing well will help him and the NT as well....

Schulz and Halstenburg should be locked for next 3-4 years for the LB position while Mittlestadt coming up...

I think our side back situation is much better than what we had in last 3-4 years

Weigl is someone I would like to see how he does with NT in a recall. Playing cb will help improve his defense and he's gained 4kg in muscle mass too.

as for LB, we are stacked in prospective players there between Mittelstadt, Henrichs (can play both sides, needs to improve his club situation though), GL Itter, Vagnoman (can play both sides) Katterbach, Netz etc. There are plenty of other players that are emerging LB besides these guys too.

RB dev seems more of a question mark post Klostermann.

shame we can't add Klunter to the RB list as options since he's not a starter although when given the chance to play full game he shut down 3rd place Gladbach. Other RBs are either not worth mentioning or still emerging ones.

    —————Weigl—-Demirbay
    ——————-Havertz
    —-Gnabry——-Selke———Brandt
