I'm happy for Randolph for the call, even though I doubt he'll play. I do think we've made a mistake though, by failing to at least call him in and take a look at him. Hamid and Johnson are talented but young, Guzan has fallen off the radar and I think Darren deserves a shot as much as anyone in MLS.

 

If he's the only DN we lose this year, I'm OK with that.

I don't want to get a NT discussion going in this thread but thought it worth mentioning that Randolph was not named on the Ireland Euro 2012 roster. So unless there are injuries to the 'keepers ahead of him, it could be a while before he is cap-tied.

Randolph has been named to the "standby" list for Ireland's Euro 2012 roster as the fourth goalkeeper. I don't think he'll be playing for the USA anytime soon.
