I remember when, around the same time we were all crowning Wagner the successor to run the US midfield in the next generation people were talking about Slaton in the same fashion at the back. What happened and where is she now in terms of Olympic team possibilities?
her knees happened to her. just like Susan Bush. i think Slat is at camp, but i'm out of it right now and can't remeber if she is. she had surgery at the end of 2003, after the world cup, since she was on that roster and was in one game. She is in the pool still, but that doesn't mean much.
