On the internet I'm not sure I am myself.

    Or am I.

    Now I'm confused.

Interesting he has a Kenyan passport also. Would be a shame if we lost him to them.

understandable. The world cup is surely to be better for Germany than our country, so you have that to look forward to. And, to boot, if Germany takes 1st in its group, and the US takes 2nd in theirs as projected, they play each other in the second round!

Ghana too, and I wouldn't write off Australia. Very tough group.

Not necessarily from the point of view of a seasoned tournament team. They will probably take more points from each other than from Germany. It has always been the greatest German strength to get the results against beatable opposition; they just tend to make less mistakes than others. A group with two middle-class teams and one punching bag would have been more dangerous for Germany. It's very likely that one team gets a result vs Germany, and fails vs another team, so Germany will probably win this group with 7 or even 5 points.

Germany seems to just do what it takes to advance. I am a bit surprised that the "pundits" are writing off Serbia... most prediction I've seen have Germany topping the group, followed by Ghana or in some cases even Australia. The talent on that Serbian team, though: Subotic, Vidic, Ivanovic in the back, Stankovic, Zigic. They are stacked. Decent chance that England and the US both get knocked out in the round of 16 if they advance.

Dude, I'm American. I just used to live over in Germany, thus the German club team. As far international footy is concerned, I'm all USA.

I already told her that if we should have kids, dad is making sure their allegiance is to red, white and blue, even if we were to raise them in Germany.

Williams went 90, Frieburg gave up the game-winner in the 90th minute and lost 2-1.
