You can vote for him for Reading's player of the month. https://www.bewiser.co.uk/be-wiser-player-of-the-month-reading-fc?referrer=Readingfcpotm
His accent is interesting. He's only been in England for a few years but you can definitely hear the accent. It seems more British than German even
In my current and previous job I communicate on a daily basis with people from places like Germany, Poland, Finalnd, and Portugal in English and they all use British phrases and pronunciations when speaking.
I'd disagree a bit. I live in Germany, and this is one of the accents I'm very used to hearing, even at home (he sounds like my step son). TxT is correct, Germans use British phrasing so maybe that's it.

DWill posted a video on Instagram of a plane ticket to Miami.. Must be on the October roster! Finally JK gets the picture!
He was a CDM during his time in Germany, but Reading has made him more of a box-to-box CM, on occasion even a CAM.
I like Williams too - he's a bit of a plugger, but his hardworking style suits the US, I think. I was just being snide about the posters who freaked out back in the day the few times Jurgie ran out Williams/Jones/Bradley and Williams/Bradley/Edu "He's playing 3 defensive midfielders!!! But, of course, Williams is just a midfielder. Not exactly the most creative the soccer world has ever produced, but not exactly Ritchie Williams either. I think, if we have enough speed and/or guile in spots with some combo of Demps/CP/Wood/Johnson and a good strong to the goal player like Jozy/Wood/AJ we can use a player like Williams. He's kind of a B-side Jones. And sadly Jones is unlikely to have a lot of gas left in his tank.
Totally agree. Williams is basically a poor man's Jermaine Jones, which is not a bad thing. He won't be as good as an in-prime JJ was, but he can still be useful.
