^Nice post Matt in the Hat. Really good taste, especially coming from a Mod. Lifelong Cowboys fan here. The team is loaded on both sides of the ball. Anything less than a Super Bowl appearance would be disastrous.
No Brady, Favre is a Jet, AND the Colts are not the same team! The season is ours (barring serious injuries) I hope there's a statue of Jerry Jones at the New Cowboys Stadium
Knock wood. Romo isn't as accurate as Aikman and he's not been as improvisational/scrambling this season - so I think this season may live and die on Romo's play. But I do agree it's wide open this season, but whoever comes out of the AFC isn't going to be a cakewalk, assuming we can get past the Giants, Eagles, etc.
The season is no longer ours, thanks to injuries and a suspension. Romo is injured, but he may play with that broken finger. Even if he plays he has not been his same scrambling self as many have already stated. Someone is trying to make him into Tom Brady when he just needs to be himself, especially if the O-line is going to be non-existent. Pac-man Jones...it was a matter of time, the guy has problems. Pro-bowl CB Terrance Newman out until after the bye week, our pro-bowl punter out until who knows when, our best athlete RB Felix Jones out for a few weeks. Roy Williams the washed up safety, surely he's still out. But we still have Jerry Jones and he did get us WR Roy Williams. Let's see what happens it should be interesting
This season is turning into another disaster... The only players who seem to be giving their all are MB3 and Ware.
Really, the Cowboys have 5!!! Huge win for the Boys today. The defense played great today, 5 times the Bucs got into are 25, and they only came up with 9 points. Ware didnt keep his sack streak going, but he still got some solid pressure, and we made Garcia run a lot. Are young secondary also got a lot more big PT time, in a huge game. With Newman out, Pacman suspended, Jenkins, Scandrick, and Ball really played well, and we also picked up an injury to Henry. Anyways, didnt let up any touchdowns, great showing. Brad played smart, turnover free football. Owens got some catches, as well as Witten and Williams, who got his first touchdown. Barber played hard as always, and the O-Line did a good job of protecting the quaterback for the most part. Johnson continues to throw too many balls high, but he got the job done. Sitting at 5-3, that Giant game next week is huge!
And the Giants have 7 championships. Dick measuring contest over. I will be there next week. This is always a fun one.
Obviously you would go with that, but its been all about Superbowls for how long? Thought so. So 2 for you.
You mean 3. 86, 90 and 07. should be a good game this week at giant stadium. dallas desperatly needs to win and stay in the middle of the pack and the giants can not stumble again against a weaker team and need to continue to the win games that there supposed to. schedule is brutal for the giants.
