Your times are wrong, unless United's website is wrong. Your times are more humane for DC fans, however, in that we will probably miss a violent ass-kicking if we stick to your schedule.

 

With everyone expecting a loss (including me), this is the game that we will be competitive and come away with something.

 

Thinking same. Every time I predict a 4-0 loss we win 1-0 on a o.k., with no shots on goal.

 

Not enough time between previous beatdowns to train through the problems or rest our legs. I have faith, but no hope. I'll watch, but I don't expect to learn anything useful. May the transfer window have mercy on our souls, to paraphrase.

Looks like a forecast of about 90° F at kickoff. Given our team's recent schedule, lethargic performance, Dallas's skills, and the lack of Bill Hamid, I think there's a chance of an ugly result. Like 5-0 or 6-1. But I'm hoping for a mere 3-0 thumping.

Have we ever won on 4th of July? I remember even back in the glory years it seemed like we got hammered by somebody or other every year. It's always a road game with a big home crowd...

 

They beat Dallas in Dallas (well, Frisco) 1-0 in 2006, a year they took the Supporter's Shield.
They beat KC 1-0 in 2007, another year they took the Supporter's Shield.
