I'll be back at RFK tonight, but from what I understand people who want to exchange this ticket for a future game will have to pay $10 (at least). Another lost occasion to show a little bit of class.

Where did you get that info? They're starting tickets for tonight at $10 for new people who want to watch the rest of the match but they aren't charging people to exchange these tix for a new game that I have seen.

My issue was them chasing the elderly and young kids (4-6 years old) out of the seats in the top of the 300s. No call for that. I will be addressing this with senior management.

No safety reason to chase people out of the top three rows of the 300s. No one was going to get killed.

That would be Apex. They caused issues in the SG sections with their gorilla tactics.

I am friendly with many of the CSC staff. It's the others that are the issue.

FWIW, the PA system in RFK is worthless. And the team assumes no liability, the city does. It;s their shithole stadium. You have a better chance of getting hit by falling concrete in RFK than you do by lightning.

Considering all of the stands are metal, I thought it was hilarious that they were initially telling people they could go to the 300s since those sections are covered.

It has always felt strange to me that the higher up you go in RFK, the less protection there is from falling out of the venue. I think that fencing is only on the 100s, 200s and maybe some portions of the 300s.

This situation is an interesting preview for next year and the 29+ years after that.
DCU claims that every effort will be made to avoid scheduling Nats and DCU games on the same nights (Green Line overloading, etc.)
But, the best laid plans and all that . . .
What about game postponements involving the Nats, or less likely, us?

the fence is to keep people out, not in

security was weird last night. I got hassled over bringing in my camera. Which I have been doing for 5 or6 years without issue

Yes but for that metal to provide a path to ground it has to be higher than every other path to ground. Considering that the upper deck is closer....................

There is no way to avoid major overlap, unless the Nats decide to stop playing on Saturdays. I would be happy if MLS started scheduling games that started at 1-3 PM instead of 7, especially on Sundays. However, later games on Saturdays are better for those of us coming up I-95 since the express lanes are Northbound after 4:00 or so starting on Saturday.

    I guess I can't have everything, LOL.

Sarvas, the gift that keeps on giving. That's a pathetic decision to play out of the back for a guy that's supposed to be the veteran IQ guy on the field.

Just bring Canouse in right away.

Our center mids behind Acosta have been horri-bad today.

Also lots of space between our attack and defense all game long. It allowed RSL a chance to control all of the transitions without any significant pressure. Petke adjusted to that gap By letting someone hang back at halftime and that was all she wrote.

Another $5 million in transfer payments over the winter and that crew might contend for the 6th place playoff spot. Sheesh, what a ********ing hot mess.
