So that's what happened to Spain. Wonder why it fell out that they're going to Cyprus instead of Portugal this year.
here's Spain's just announced roster http://www.womenssoccerunited.com/spain-announce-squad-for-the-cyprus-womens-cup-2018/ a little odd because they got 10 players from Barca, but only one from Athletic even though that club just beat Barca(with it's bevy of internationals) 1-0, last weekend with an almost all domestic lineup

Finland 0-1 Wales (Green 53') Slovakia 0 - 0 South Africa Belgium 1 - 2 Czech Republic (Svitkova 15', Kozarova 25' - De Caigny 76')
Highlights (not really "high quality", but that's what we get). They come from Italian NT official website, so they could be biased, but by looking at them you get the impression that Italy could have won by an even larger margin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLtWCwAHxhNTZxsDfVhs2z1nLhe0hiRnj2&v=ySNJA635YtM Edit: random video-interview from one week ago for Barbara Bonansea's fans:
Considering how it's been mentioned on this board several times before that Italy has been on a decline recently and that Switzerland has been on a rise, that's got to be a very satisfying result for Italy and their fans! I expect more from Spain and DPRK than what they got yesterday, though.
Yeah it's on reverse now with Italy and Switzerland. I guess Azzure are on the rise mostly because of Serie A is getting better. on the other hand generation change in Swiss NT started quite late and it's not going so smooth... Question is how many (if any) subs started for DPRK? It's worth to notice 2 goals from Kim Yun Mi. She scored now each time in her last five matches. Tall, strong, dynamic, possess decent technical skills - she would be a genuine star in any top tier club if only allowed to play outside NK. 2 goals by Spain adds to 4 they scored against Austria three months ago
Looks like the only game they didn't manage to win against them was the one that counted more, at Euro 2017.

Should that link not work for whatever reason, there is this one also (official Italian NTs channel). We're currently at HT, Italy is winning by 2-0.
Well, soon after the missed PK, Italy scored again, at 87' with Adami. So, final score: Wales 0-3 Italy (Girelli 18', ??? [sorry, missed the scorer] 45', Adami 87') I guess beating a team where Jessica Fishlock plays is always a quite good result for any team, despite the fact that her team-mates are not at her same level.
Two 3-0 win in a row, impressive congratulations Italy! I told y'all you are on the right direction..
I found second Italy's goal was also by Girelli, who, with this brace, reached 25 goals in 50 caps for Italian NT. On Twitter, a post by Girelli seemed to imply that Italy is already in the final of Cyprus Cup, so I assume tie-breaker in case of parity is the result of the direct match, because on paper Wales or Switzerland could still reach Italy at 6 points, should Italy lose to Finland, but probably they can't be in the final anyway because they already lost to Italy. Even should tie-breaker be goal difference, it's hard to think that Italy can be caught: they're at +6, while currently Switzerland and Wales are at +1 and -2 respectively. So I guess final it is!
While waiting for Italy's official website to upload highlights, this BBC video-interview at least shows two of the goals. First one was a FK with the now popular scheme of having three girls form a mini-wall in front of GK to make her job harder; second one, according to reports, was an indirect FK in the box, given to Italy because of an awkward backpass to the GK by a Wales' player. Enjoy: http://www.bbc.com/sport/wales/43256743
Full highlights of the Wales-Italy game. It's a shame that the back-pass that led to the indirect FK of 2nd goal isn't showed. The PK Italy missed in 2nd half with Sabatino is included, though. As usual, the disclaimer is that this video comes from Italian NT's official YouTube channel, so it is possible that it's slightly biased, but anyway it looks like it was an one-traffic match:
South Korea 0 - South Africa 0 Not a good sign from South Africa to only be able to score one goal in group play.
Okay so I'm seeing a score report on Wikipedia - WTF happened in the FIN-ITA game to warrant three penalties being awarded between the two sides??
