just realized the guy I play hasn't logged on since Nov, so I'm figuring that I should be able to take the lineup he's been putting out.

I have a somwhat tricky fixture, but thankfully my opponent has agreed to mutual PIC.

    I predict a 4-1 win.

My match should be interesting, he's easily gonna win midfield, but thats all his team has (poor to solid VL attacks, poor to inad defense)... so I'm CA'ing (should be ~ brilliant) with my central attack and defense coming in at formidable and excellent respectively.

This might be the year I make it to Cup Round 4

I am in the same situation. Ikari's series mate hasn't logged into HT since 11/28 and has 2 A team injuries in the defense (CD and GK). I am gambling that I will have sufficient MF at home, on a PIC.

This is my 4th attempt to get to the 4th round, at HT it's 2-1 to me w/ 55% poss, all my midies have at least excellent stamina. I have a better attack athough his defense is better. Thank God for playing the starters with WOC, TS.

    Up 2-0 at the half.

Lost my best IM to a "twisted ankle," but still holding possesion at 53%. Might be closer than I thought without #1 in the 2nd half.

Up 4-2 now, probably could have PIC. Going to concentrate on the league this year for promotion so 4th round is probably the longest I am going to go.

Well, I've had 3 chances and he's had 4... problem is I only scored once and he scored on all of them. 1-4 with like 10 min to go. :(

Uh-oh, it's 4-3 in the 86th, this is going to be close.

    Maybe not 5-3 in the 87th :D

    Edit:

even better, 6-3, two late goals from my top middie, who will be on sale soon.

195 HS on a home PIC AND without my #1 IM (+2) for an hour of the game. :D

On to the fourth round with a 4-0 win.

and FDB is headed to the 4th round for the first time in club history... we would like to thank those who made this possible, and look forward to two home matches in a row... in hindsight, it looks like if i would have lost that match, it would have technically been an upset

i beat COPE 5-2. It was an adventure however. i had to stalk splid keepers on the transfer list because mine was injured. i only had 140k to spend because I was in debt and was able to find a solid keeper in pass form with pass experience for 115k. Unfortunately he lowered TS when he arrived. I normaled and pulled a team record 221HS.
    On to Rd 4

A former YP of mine (solid Keeper) sold for only 61K earlier today. Too bad you missed him and were up against it later.
