Not yet, but I can post it here after the game...I usually only post if foreign refs are involved. I saw a picture with Kassai at the airport and looked like he had a colleague with him, so maybe he will have an all Hungarian trio (usually they just bring in centers).
I got told that his usual team of György Ring and Vencel Tóth are there too. VAR team not confirmed but they will be local. I will report this game, maybe some people are interested in how Kassai performs.
Week 28: November 22 for Shanghai Shenhua vs Beijing Guoan: CONGER (NZL) November 23 for Guangzhou Evergrande vs Shanghai SIPG: KASSAI (HUN) with AR1 RING (HUN) and AR2 TOTH (HUN). Looks like Kassai had a penalty to call towards the end, which seemed pretty straightforward based on the replay I saw and 10 yellow cards.
Clips from Kassai's game: => 50' Goal disallowed for Guangzhou after On-Field Review for a foul resulting in the change of possession => 86' Goal for Guangzhou correctly disallowed by AR2 => 90' Penalty given to Guangzhou after an On-Field Review Hungarian performed very well in a challenging game.
I would expect to see Kassai and friends and Conger tomorrow for the penultimate round and probably for the final round as well on Sunday. We shall see...
Week 29: November 27 for Tianjin Tianhai vs Dalian Yifang: CONGER (NZL) November 27 for Shenzhen vs Henan Jianye: KASSAI (HUN) with AR1 RING (HUN) and AR2 TOTH (HUN). Looks like Kassai was busy again with a penalty and a send off. Both of these games were important for the relegation battle.
Thanks again Doubtful Red Card issued for DOGSO by Kassai https://3g.163.com/v/video/VPU3B00B4.html I couldn't find a video of Kassai's full match nor penalty incident EDIT: I guess Kassai will take charge of the Beijing Sinobo Guoan game and Conger will handle the Guangzhou Evergrande match on Sunday
Week 30, December 1: Guangzhou Evergrande vs Shanghai Shenhua: SHUKRALLA (BHR) Beijing Guoan vs Shandong Luneng: KASSAI (HUN) with AR1 RING (HUN) and AR2 TOTH (HUN) Shanghai SIPG vs Shenzhen: CONGER (NZL)
The Chinese seasons are all over, so here is an update on our friends Mr. Clattenburg and Mr. Mazic: Both Mazic and Clattenburg were centers for 30 CSL regular season games, had centers for the FA Cup 5th Round, QF, and centers for the 2nd Leg of one of the CL1 relegation playoff ties. For the FA Cup Final 2nd Leg, Clattenburg was the center ref and Mazic was the VAR.
Word is that the CSL season will be starting toward the end of this month and also that the CSL will not be using any foreign referees this season.
I don't think the latter portion of your statement is really even necessary. With everything that is going on in the world, I think it's basically understood that no one is going to be traveling to China anytime soon no matter how much money you throw at referees. It's like saying if "you don't breathe you will die."
I was thinking more that maybe Mazic and Clattenburg had stayed there possibly, but it doesn't look like that happened either.
