La he escuchado una alineación concreta por et DT. Conseguimos a Gonzalo Muchos refuerzos de las fuerzas básicas. Ya dijo Meza que la portería será alternada entre Corona y Yosgart. Veremos como juegan hoy

So who's gonna list this year's roster? I say we see another finals run, but I'll stop right there as far as my predictions go.

The ref in that game was too involved. I'm happy with the result tho. :)

So far, things are looking good. I didn't think Pineda was going to bring anything different to the team, but I was wrong, the team seems to be working very well together now, even Chaco is a lot more involved in the attack with Villa, those two understand each other very well.

Also... the new jerseys are beautiful. I am glad I waited until this tourney to get a new CA jersey.

I'm buying a new jersey this weekend. I dunno if I should go with the home or away tho? I haven't had a home jersey in a minute.

Same with me, I keep saying "I'll buy the home next season." Then I see the away :D

Still not sold 100% on the team for some reason. They are playing better than I've seen since the Markarian era. I'm waiting for them to beat America or Chivas. Hopefully the former but I would take the latter. Looking good so far but we'll see.

    On the CONCACAF front -

    1) Please let nobody get hurt - CONCACAF referees plus hacking goon teams do not make a good combo.
    2) Villaluz - make use of the minutes you're getting, this could be your last chance. I'm of the mind that we should have dumped you and kept Lugo. Prove me wrong.
    3) Please let nobody get hurt.
    4) Isn't it interesting how less bland the MLS teams get when they play this tourney. If regular MLS games were like that, there would be more fans. Not saying they improve technically, but man do they put out an effort. Good for them ! More please.

    Week 9.

OK, so we lose to Necaxa. But wasn't the FMF supposed to review video in situations like the Gandín PK and hand out suspensions for diving ? Or has that rule gone out the window this year. Really really annoying how the FMF just makes rules up on the fly and then discards them. And while I'm in complain mode, Cruz Azul should appeal the Corona red card. I'm not sure the red card was for the alleged foul or for bad-mouthing the ref afterward. Hopefully if it was the former, there's a chance they could lift the suspension. If it was the latter, then there's no way they would lift it.

As expected, Alberto Quintano is indeed appealing the Corona suspension. In the ref's report, there is no indication of any insult but there is a note that Corona touched him. Well, according to the video, this did not occur. So all that's left is the supposed foul, which again, is not born out in the video. Will the one game Corona suspension be lifted ? Probably not, but I do wish Cruz Azul had also brought up the point of the obvious dive in the Gandin PK. If nothing else, to get clarification from the FMF that video will no longer be reviewed to go over dives that result in PKs. Here's some quotes from Quintano.

I guess they do point out the Mosqueda dive in the appeal. Here's another link and a quote.

The game against Santos was a tough game despite the 3-0 outcome. Corona was on point.
