Did you know that @captaincbus and I once got into some tussles on here with regards to supporters' groups? Shocking, I know. I am still curious as to whether the Nordecke is going to continue to move towards a KC Cauldron-like system. I thought so (and asked) when I noticed changes a year or so ago, but I am pretty convinced now.
Yes. Agreed. I gathered as much last year when I politely asked whether I could buy a new CSU scarf, and I was told I could buy a Nordecke scarf. Okay. I got the message, I think. In all seriousness, though, whatever works, go with it. If it benefits people to create some massive entity (see what I did), then so be it. I have no input to give. I will just continue to show up with my little troupe, stand in the supporters' section (when I am able to go to games), and chant for Crew. What I have always enjoyed. Nothing more, nothing less.
First of all, layers are only excessive when they hinder either circulation or drinking. Secondly, I will be missing yet another Crewsmas due to circumstances well beyond my control. As ever, I envy those of you who have any control over your own circumstances.
I was hoping to join in the Crewsmas fun this year, but held off because fate has a way of getting in the way whenever I buy Crew tickets. Sure enough, my soccer-loving child has come down with Strep and now I'm just hoping I don't come down with it before Saturday.

I can’t afford a ticket and cold and rain doesn’t help the cause. Couldn’t get season tickets but I’ll be at a bunch of games starting May or June . For those going enjoy it , wish I could enjoy the elements with you

HSH was great during its golden years. G5C just seem like HSH posers who are more concerned with smoke bombs and calling each other "mate." I completely get where you can come to the Antifa conclusion and it just makes them more odd to me.
Weather Underground still says a high of 40, but it certainly has trended up in recent days. Also, the low on Friday night is 33, so it should be above freezing all day (and getting noticeably colder starting Saturday night). There's a slight chance of rain, especially earlier on Saturday. Looks like no hint of sun. Of course, it's still only Tuesday, so who knows how accurate this will be by the weekend. But at least it's not ominous, and shouldn't deaden ticket sales any more than one might normally expect in early March. By comparison, it's gonna be in the mid-teens in Toronto for the CCL match tonight.

I just looked at a FB album titled “Crewsmas 2006.” This reminiscing action may have caused my eyes to become watery. I think that was the last Crewsmas in that old spot by the trees. I hope you still have that hat!
Two things I noticed at the stadium yesterday..... 1. They were hanging a banner over the front gates. 5"x8"x1" bag policy is still in effect. 2. They had a LOT of metal detectors inside the gates, so my presumption is that we're going to be seeing those this year instead of the wands.
I spoke with some of the stadium staff last night and apparently there's entire new banners throughout the stadium. She said that all the red Mapfre tarps were switched to black & gold. She also mentioned that the locker room was redone and new toilets were installed everywhere. I'm excited to see the improvements on Saturday. It's going to feel like a brand new day and will be so reinvigorating.
