I have a sweet-ass CBJ hat that is all black with black stitching that I know they don't sell anymore, if there was something similar for the Crew I think I would pimp it until the day I died. All black, crest in black raised stitching, or all black with the rarely-used secondary logo in all black...
Nice effort but I don't dig the crazy shoulder deal. I'd love to see a yellow and black checkered kit (small squares).
Well, I must say I'm underwhelmed by all I've seen, though I certainly appreciate the effort. For me, the third jersey we should use is one we already have: the white with the thick yellow vertical bands we had in 1998-1999. Those are sweet. If Crew fans had a choice, would we rather have a third kit available or do some throwbacks? I'd go throwbacks unless there was something totally awesome in gray. I think 3rd kits shouldn't use the main two colors. It should be the change-up.
Most teams in Europe go with colors that are not the typical team colors as their third jersey. One that I liked was when we played Nurnberg--the gray jerseys with red trim that Nurnberg used were nice and would appeal to the tOSU fans as well (I was not bale to find a picture of this on line, though I have them at home). But do we really *need* a third jersey? We barely use the second one as it is.
